I had an issue with my 2008 Nissan Sentra—the key wouldn’t turn in the ignition. Technician Yasir arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, replaced the ignition cylinder, and made two new keys. Professional work, reasonable price, and now my car runs perfectly Thank you

Melanie was absolutely fantastic!!! She came to our home to fix the ignition cylinder. We were not able to turn the key to start the car. She took it apart and fixed it!! We had brought to the car dealership but they couldn’t fix it. Highly recommend Melanie!! Thanks!! Ed

Do NOT use this company!!! Horrible humiliating experience.0 STARS. Had trouble with bolt door lock working efficiently so I made an appointment for a technician to inspect and recommend a solution. I was thinking maybe it would just need to be adjusted or possibly replaced. Appointment was made for the following day at 11:15 am. Technician arrived after 4pm. He proceeded to inspect the lock and took it completely off of door,at which point he said that it would need to be replaced and that the cost would be $1,200.00. I was astounded by this outrageous estimate. I asked him why it would be so expensive and his response was that the cost of the lock was high. What kind of door lock costs $1,200.00? I told him I was not willing to pay that amount. His response was to just replace a portion of the lock for $800. something dollars. I eventually got him to agree to do it for less. $480 is what I paid for him to show up, do a 3 minute inspection and take the door lock off, then another 5 minutes to put mostly the original parts back on the door. This company should be ashamed and embarrassed.

Sure Lock & Key responded exactly how I knew they would and exactly how they respond to all complaints - with hollow apologies and no resolution. As I stated in the (very brief) email exchange between us before your team going radio silent, as a woman it is very easy to be coerced into agreeing to things when they feel vulnerable. I felt completely violated: your tech made unwarranted comments about my body, as well as what my living situation was and who was home at the time, and THEN demanding payment for a service that was performed incorrectly. It shouldn't even have to be said as most customer service reps would want to resolve customer dissatisfaction based solely on the fact that the product doesn't work, but unfortunately you've left me no choice but to relive an extremely uncomfortable situation on the internet to try to get my point across. I would be happy to provide you proof that your service is trash, but you've provided no means to do so because you very quickly stopped responding to my emails. Also, you're out of your mind if you think I want one of your creepy techs ever coming to my house again. I want a refund for your complete negligence toward your customers.

I am very pleased with the service from Sure Lock and Key in New Haven. I had lost my only car key. Within the day, Rob came to where I was volunteering and made a key, Within a week he had a key made with all the internal abilities. This is the second time I have. used them and would highly recommend them.

Horrible service and rude technician. The technician is an arrogant fool who doesn’t know what he’s doing. We hired these people to change 3 doorknobs and the technician told us he could do it. We were having a problem specifically with the strike plates for the doors. He put in the doorknobs and did not put in the strike plates for 2 doors (one worked without him doing anything) and charged us more than $300! He said just use the doors without the strike plates. Who does that?! I have emailed them multiple times and called the technician again for a refund, but they have done nothing about this. They did not do the job they were hired for. To me, their whole company seems like an elaborate scam. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE.
