Started project Oct. 11th. Still waiting for things to be completed properly and it's June 6th. Obviously, COVID hendered some things, but if they'd been completed properly the first time, we would've been done in January. Beyond that, our project was never prioritized and there were numerous dates of no call/no shows and very late shows. It was clear my time was not respected. A closet was to be created and it wasn't until after they'd cut a large hole in the wall/attic that they let us know there was an issue with the original dimensions. As professionals, one would think they would have came to that conclusion when inspecting the attic and room and drawing up the plans. At that point though, our options were to go with it as it was or have them close the hole back up. I would highly suggest they let clients know in advance of such drastic changes. The "closet" is more like a tiny cupboard, that only holds tops, and a drawer. The drawer was supposed to be sectioned, but they didn't even do that. They did at least give us a $100-$200 credit off the "closet". Also, the estimate amounts will change and they'll say they have one understanding of the project and then, change that understanding at the end. It will either cost more or not be done to the oral understanding. We have 2 large projects to complete, which we'd planned on having them do. However, once we were 2-3 months in, it was clear we needed to go with another contractor for our other projects.
