Google5We hired Spivey to remodel our master bathroom and they were fantastic! Top notch craftsmanship throughout. Would definitely recommend them. Not the cheapest, but reasonable and great quality.

Google5We hired Spivey for our kitchen remodel and I’m so glad we did. Joe came up with some great ideas to improve the functionality of the small space. I was so grateful that Spivey has established relationships with vendors that helped me choose cabinets, countertops, flooring, tile and appliances. Then Tim came in and made it all happen. He let us know what work was scheduled when and checked on progress frequently. He was easy to reach if an issue came up or if I had questions. He personally took care of some of the finishing details, exceeding expectations. Thanks for the beautiful kitchen, Tim, Joe and the Spivey team!

Google5Spivey Remodeling did a fantastic job on my parents’ great room addition so when I wanted to remodel my kitchen and replace the floors in the entire house this year I knew I wanted them to do the job. They are a top tier company with many years of experience and folks who treat your house as their own. Everyone from Tim S., owner/project manager, Joe B., designer/sales; Tim H., master carpenter, Paul N. and all the subcontractors and vendors are knowledgeable, highly skilled and such a pleasure to work with. Tim S. was very good at keeping in touch throughout the project and making sure I was happy with everything. I had existing hardwood that they recommended keeping and refinishing instead of replacing with lvp and I’m so happy with the results. Everyone comments how good the floor looks. They also preserved my backsplash tile (which was no easy feat with the cabinet & countertop demo) so I was able to choose new cabinets and countertops to complement it and everything looks beautiful! They demoed a peninsula and replaced it with a small island which is a much more efficient design. Looking forward to my bathroom remodel with them in early 2026 and I know the results will be just as great as my kitchen and floors. So grateful for the entire team! I highly recommend Spivey Remodeling, Inc.

Google5Three years ago we used Tim and the team at Spivey Remodeling to perform a major renovation in our house. I wrote a review at that time on that work. Starting in the 2nd half of last year (2021) we contracted with Tim, Joe B. and the team again to add on a room to our house, basically a sun room for us (by the way, we wouldn’t have thought to use anyone else for this work. We trust this team implicitly). There was considerable demo needed on our north wall where the new room was added. They did as well as possible to keep the dust out of the rest of our house by installing a temp wall with plastic sheeting. Joe B came up with a nice plan to create a room that matched our vision for the new space, which is 18x18’. Lots of windows, high ceilings, and a large fireplace on the north wall. We wanted some separation between our existing great room and the new space, so Joe designed a set of 4 sliding glass doors that slide left and right on the adjoining wall. They allow a lot of light into the rest of the house. Tim H, master carpenter for Spivey, custom-built the entire frame that houses the doors and installed them. This entire feature is simply perfect and the doors work beautifully. Tim is simply terrific and represents, very well, the collection of talented workers that Tim S. uses regularly at Spivey Remodeling. The outside bricks we needed were delayed and when they became available it was too cold to get them on the room, so that wasn’t completed until March. We’re very happy with the new room. Inside and outside pictures are included to show the work. These are great guys to work with and we recommend them very highly.

Google5We did a complete first floor renovation on our 1960’s 2-story colonial home, including a 700 sq. ft. addition for our new kitchen and living space. We wanted to re-design the entire first floor layout of our home, which was no small task. We interviewed several companies, but Joe Bailey (sales/designer) won us over with his honesty and vision of the space. He was very thoughtful and creative, and offered us several specific ideas for the space and even drafted a few designs before we committed to Spivey – other companies wanted a very large down payment to even discuss their ideas. Joe designed a space that was more than we expected – with all our must-have items included. Joe has been in the business for years and we very much appreciated his insight and knowledge as we worked through every detail until we were 100% satisfied. Once our drawings and design plans were finalized, Tim Steill took over to manage the project. Tim was an excellent project manager. His communication skills are top notch – he was always available via text or phone and was very good at checking-in when he couldn’t be here himself. What really sets Spivey apart and superior to their competitors is their amazing staff and teams. Tim’s teams are true talents of their trade. From excavation, framing, insulation, drywall, roofing, flooring (including tile), cabinetry, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing – all are five star, wonderful, talented people who have worked with Tim for years. Everyone was very professional and respectful of our home, and showed true dedication to make our space perfect. We started our project in February 2020, just before the pandemic hit. Some things were delayed due to global supply shortages, but Tim was very good at managing our expectations and honest about the timeline. In the end, it was all SO worth it! Everyone has heard horror stories when it comes to renovations and contractors, but we can guarantee that you will be in great hands and not have to worry about that with Spivey. We LOVE our new home and we can’t wait to work with Joe and Tim on more projects soon!

Google5Our 40x24 brick garage with a hip roof was built like it was their own. Professional and quality work. It is built like we the homeowner would have built it, with pride! We have no complaints! We are waiting for the weather to break so the team can come back to finish with the acid washing (to make the brick pretty) and grading the yard, we have no doubt it will be perfect! It wasn't just a pay check to Tim and Joe and their team, they actually care, and it shows. (It's hard too find that quality of workmanship and people now a days) Tim and Joe are both detail oriented as well as their team. They all did an amazing job and we would definitely hire them again.

Google5I hired Spivey for my master bath remodel. It was pretty much a full redo – floors, closet, new tub/shower combo, tile, shelving, plumbing moved…. I love the results! They were not the cheapest estimate I received, but all three estimates were in the same ballpark, and their designer – Joe – really sold me on Spivey. His attention to detail, and willingness to work and rework the design was awesome. The project manager, Tim, did a great job coordinating with all their contractors and communicating with me. Their contractors did top notch work. I was especially impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the plumbers and tilers. I’ve included two before pics followed by two after pics. I’ve got a second bathroom remodel in my future, and I already know who I will call first

Angi5Wonderful from start to finish. Estimates were reasonable and jobs were completed within those estimates. Phone calls are returned promptly. Mr. McVey and his assistants are diligent, efficient, show up on time, and leave the work areas clean and safe (if they have to return the next day). If there is a problem, they tell you immediately and offer a solution. Services Rendered: They performed four separate jobs for me during 2007 and 2008. (1) Built fence around entire backyard, (2) installed kitchen counter, (3) retiled bathtub surround that included pulling down existing wall and installing new drywall and tiling around bathtub, (4) installed 13 windows (entire house). Cost estimates from larger companies, such as Lowe's and White Oak (to name a few) were much higher.
