Google5I broke my garage door this morning and called Overhead Door. (They had been here before to repair a spring.). I was told the earliest someone could be here would be between 4-6. At 2:45 I get call from Aaron and he says he’ll be 10 mins. By 3:30 door was repaired,inspected,adjusted and lubricated. And the price was more than reasonable. I trust Aaron and Overheard Door implicitly!! Whole heartedly endorse them!!!

Google5Aaron M did a wonderful job replacing the motor to our garage door and all the odds and ends that go with that. Was done quicker than expected. Very friendly and bonus gave plenty of attention to our very social dog!

Google5Well in short the winds blowing this fall. And my garage door sensors are working perfectly they p/u the leaves while backing out my garage and you can guess the rest. Thanks to Aaron.M he came out first valuable they had on time and fixed reinstalling my guide wheels on door and bent track and realign everything for me and greased springs and roller and had it like new again. They had done the install as year earlier and new opener very satisfied great job. Andrew.M

Google4I have bought overhead doors from this buisness before with good responce & service. This time a little different,,, First, the Salesman Patrick was very professional & handled my calls & sale good. Second, when the installation of my door finally scheduled & the day of install Adam showed up on time with all the exact door & hardware that was specified in the order,,, Adam did a good job of installing the door correctly, very nice young man! The issue I had was more than once with the secretary Hunter,, 1st she did not return phone calls, when I mentioned my voice-mail, she ignored it, I said something to Patrick about it,, he apologized for the issue, then when the door was ordered , I did not recieve a call to set a date for installation. I called Patrick,, he checked said yes the door was in, & he would have Hunter call to set up an appointment. I waited a week,, no call!! I called Patrick again, he said really! I will call Hunter & have her call you today, he apologized! Later that day Hunter finally called, & acted like nothing was wrong, I didnt say anything, we set the appointment up, & it went off great! So Im not sure if I would use this buisness again or not? Patrick was great, Adam. Was great, but deffinetly a problem with Hunter,, I believe she is costing this establishment work & money!!

Google5Overhead did a fantastic job. Timeline was perfect and Adam did a great install. Its quiet and works perfect. Glad we made the decision to go with overhead. Google2The pricing is reasonable and overall competitive with local area. The overall quality of the door is good but my issues stem from service and the install. Two things happened, number 1 the sensors weren’t properly aligned so the door would not close normally, we had techs out on two different occasion, the first time they didn’t look at them claimed it was a sun issue and left it at that, wasn’t until the following time they came out that they realized the sensors were misaligned. The second issue is in regards to a paint defect in the window frame, I noticed it the first time I saw the door and had to reach out to have it corrected, I feel that it was obvious enough that the installation tech should’ve caught it and started the warranty ball rolling. With the amount spent I expected the door to be in pristine condition. Since then it’s been over a month and I have to email them almost weekly to get any kind of update on when they will make the repair. If I had to do it again, I’d shop more companies in the area.

Google5I had a new motor installed a year ago and at that time the Service Tech, Aaron M, informed me the springs were beginning to show wear, and would eventually cause a problem. This year I decided to replace the 20 year old springs, I requested Aaron again because of his work ethic / professionalism / knowledge and friendly attitude. He did another GREAT job and presented a positive attitude.

They are prompt, their pricing is reasonable, and their service is the best! Owner Ginny and tech Robbie are an awesome team! For us, there's no other company that does our garage door replacement and garage door opener installations. Top shelf!

Yelp5Access doors install my garage door probably 15-20 years ago. I call them back every four or five years or so . They replaced a spring about 2-3 years ago and recently for minor adjustment. They do a great job. Reasonable and dependable. Ask for Robbie

Yelp5These guys communicate well, provide accurate quotes, and deliver a very timely and professional job. At first I thought I would just be replacing one of two doors on a double garage (two-door type of garage) but once I saw the first one up, I decided it just made sense to go ahead and get the other one done at this time. Access wasted no time in returning to do the second door. They also hooked them up to the existing opener machines that I had installed myself over 8 years and tweaked the machines so the new doors go up and down FLAWLESSLY!! Don't hesitate, just call these guys today if you need service, repair, or replacement.

The door ordered actually arrived sooner than we thought, which was awesome! Robbie is the most pleasant technician I've ever worked with. Access was professional, courteous, timely and truly a pleasure to do business with. The door and opener they installed is not only beautiful, but energy efficient and extremely quiet. Yelp5Awesome family run company! It was so nice to talk directly with the owners Ginny and Thomas when scheduling or asking about products. I have had really bad experiences with other installers in the past who put in low quality motors that would only work a few months before I'd have to call them again. Access knows the product market well and was able to put in a quality opener that has withstood the test of time. Service was punctual and friendly. Best of all Access was priced much more reasonably than the competition. If you want good knowledgeable service from a company that seems to truly care give Ginny or Thomas a call.

Yelp5I manage and own rental homes in Austin and regularly need garage door repairs, both to the doors and the operators and remotes. I've been using Ginny at Access Garage Doors since she started the company, way back in the 1990s I think. They have performed dozens, if not over 100 service call repairs for me over the years and always do a great job. What I like most is that: 1) It's local Austin, family owned, small company friendly, and you always deal with the owner. No bureaucracy or "big company" run around. It's usually Ginny who answers the phone herself. 2) They don't over-sell. If an older system and can be repaired, they'll tell you. If, given the age and condition of the system, it might makes since to replace it, they'll let you know, but you'll never be pushed into that. If you do decide to replace, it will be a competitive price quote and you'll have a ton of choices if picking a new door. 3) They show up on time and work quickly. I use a lot of vendors for rental property work. Many miss their scheduled appointment times with our tenants, which causes problems. Access isn't one of them. They are always prompt and courteous, and usually can get to it same or next day.

Yelp2Not pleased! Let me start by saying I DONT have the best landlord in the world. He DOESN'T like to spend money at all. I was surprised he FINALLY got someone to come out and fix the garage. When they fixed it it was working for maybe an hr then stopped. When we finally got it to go down we locked it which caused a bigger issue. They said they would look at it first then give me a price. Well they lied they fixed it on there own then billed me. The door was not working properly from the beginning and u bill me to fix it? Wow! Let me add after he fixed it it works great. And they came out right away. But watch this company I felt tricked. Maybe he did the job way too fast the first time. Not to mention it was in writing to look and then discuss pricing. I should have had to pay for what I messed up and they should have deducted for their mess up. They deducted some change for the miscommunication but argued me down. I would really have to have a change of heart to use this company or rent from this landlord again! But I like where I stay and I can't deny that! It's peaceful and no one bothers me not even the landlord himself. I hope they both become better business people in the future. I support good businesses! And if pleased I will post a great review.

Yelp5What a great experience. I has been my experience that most garage door companies oversell. Not these guys. Robbie was amazing. there is nothing about garage doors he does not know and cannot fix. And the best part was the cost. Excellent value.

Yelp4Was referred to Access from my home warranty company. Had one of the guide wire come off the track, which they were able to diagnose and fix quickly. Also did some preventive maintenance on both doors after fixing the one and they are both much quieter and smoother now.
