The technician showed up early, got right to work and performed the service flawlessly, quickly and for the price quoted. They didn’t try to upsell me anything. Great job, fair price, and I’m very happy. I will definitely call them again if o ever need any garage door service or a new door.

I scheduled the 79.00 garage door tuneup and the technician was great, friendly and very informative. My garage use to squeak and stutter while opening or closing. Now the door is smooth and quiet as a mouse. Very happy customer

We thank you. Price was as advertised for the garage door tune up. A broken gear discovered and that was replaced. He showed me the part so I could see it truly needed repair and they were not trying to create a repair to get more money. The technician was very nice and professional as well. Thanks again.

The wait for service was very short. The technician (Scott) was the nicest man who explained why our old opener was not working properly and quickly replaced the garage door opener and explained its newer features. He was kind and did a great job.

DON'T EVER USE THESE CHEATERS, WHO CHANGE INVOICE AFTER SERVICE, AND ALSO YELL ABUSE ******************* When booking an appointment, they discussed some other price and doubled it after service, when we questioned the pricing, the technician started misbehaving with my wife and old father very badly and started threatening them. Their office guy phoned to for payment and when I questioned the doubled-up pricing, he started abusing and disrespecting and hung up. When the technician left, he malfunctioned one garage door as well, which we had to fix later.NEVER AGAIN.... STAY AWAY.

Tech was here 15 minutes. Switched some wires in the control devise (so he says). Charged $380 for labor. I asked about using my $50 coupon with the reply that he already subtracted it. All a long he was pushing me to buy a new set up which they had just installed last summer. Drove to the address on the invoice to protest bill. Address is not good. Phone number just offers leaving a message which I did without a call back. BEWARE BEWARE

Cable broke and I contacted this company out of the "Reach" magazine add. Add sounded good so I made an appointment over the phone and person I spoke with stated it was a $30 service fee to estimate the problem. My problem was that a (one) cable had broken. The Technician started out with a $375 estimate, stating the cable would cost $184 alone. I had the reach"coupon" so he lowered the price to $325. The estimate still seemed high for replacing a cable, but I agreed to the service as he stated he would also lubricate everything and replace the second cable, and he was there. The next day, as I was waiting for the door to completely close, I heard a loud banging, metal to metal, and upon examination determined that the roller that the new cable was on was hitting the metal brace at the end of the function. I checked the other cable where and found the was canted so it did not hit the brace, therefore no loud banging. I called the company, and the service technician came out to what I thought was going to be a quick adjustment. Important fact, we have lived in this house for 20 years and have never had a problem with our garage doors. Technician said he would have to change the position of the brace and it would be another $200 plus. A conversation did not help so I said I would call the office. He then asked if I was going to tell a bunch of lies about him. That ended our conversation, and I asked him to leave. I called the office and customer service said there was nothing they could or would so to solve the problem. Now that I read the other reviews of this company, I "get it". Technician spent less than 40 minutes to do initial repair. Beware, get other estimates and check reviews!

DO NOT EVER USE Neighborhood Garage Door Services in *******. I made an appointment for today between ****pm earlier in the week. They confirmed it immediately and sent me an email and text. At 11:30 they text me to say someone will be here between 4-7pm. I text back saying I took the afternoon off to be here and the reply was sorry, that's all we have. I said it was poor communication and I couldn't make the later time. She basically said too bad, reschedule or cancel. Needless to say I canceled and swore I spread the word about their practices!

They installed two garage doors for be in 2019 in El Paso Texas, Since then they no longer service the El Paso Area nor do they honor their Warranty on parts. Their customer service must be non-existent since they have made no effort to contact me and try to resolve the issue.

I called regarding a garage door tune-up, and they quoted me a special of $29.99, so I agreed. They gave me a date and a 3-hour window of time (12:00-3:00, I believe). When 3:00 came and went, I called, and they told me the repairmen would be here within the hour. When that didn't happen, they told me 4:30. When that didn't happen, I called and cancelled. They asked me if I wanted to reschedule for the following day. I just told the gentleman that if I needed them, I'd call them. This appears to be a very unprofessional company. Perhaps they quote specials and fill them only in their idle time. From what I've now read online, I am not the first to have this problem. I will never try to do business with this company again.

Technician put roller back in place and adjusted cable which took only 20 minutes. He told us a warranty would be another $100.00, On their web site they advertise a coupon for $75.00 for any work done on a garage door which on the invoice he wrote us a coupon for $7.00 dollars. I tried to call and talk to a person a number of times to no avail. The total cost was $350.00 which really is excessive. No parts were used fixing the garage door.. i was totally ripped off.

I had them come out and replace my garage door on 1 November 2017, spending over $1000, because the door was damaged due to the top panel bowing in. 18 months later (25 February 2019), I was having the same issue with the garage door and called them back. Their technician came out and replaced a strut that had gone bad because it was put in the WRONG PLACE on the garage door. To repair the FIRST TECHNICIAN'S MISTAKE, they charged me $200. I talked to their customer service folks and got zero satisfaction. No refund, no taking ownership of the issue, no responsibility taken for an incorrect installation. 10 months later (14 December 2019), it did the exact same thing. This time, I called Precision Door Service. Their technician came out and replaced the INCORRECT (too small) strut with the right one. Today, over 2.25 years later, my door is still working perfectly. I will NEVER use Neighborhood Garage Door Service again and I have told everyone that has asked exactly what transpired. Their work is shoddy and they do NOT stand behind it, even when it is THEIR technicians who make the mistake. Do NOT use this company unless you want to waste your money! Beware! I called a local company for a repair - very basic repair - replace a cable. Got a reservation for the next day... so far so good. BUT: at this point my service was refer to a "neighborhood garage door service" company which then rescheduled to the end of the day and wanted to charge me $250 for a $10 cable plus labor. All it took is 30 minutes end-to-end. Found someone who was willing to do it for $70. Don't work with them!!! Services Rendered: Replace Garage door cable

I wish I had read a few more reviews on this company before I finally caved in and made an apt for their $39.95 "lube and tune" special. I had been seeing this ad in the val-pak for a couple of years now and knew that our garage doors needed some attention but hadn't called until now. They were friendly and prompt on the phone and could come out the next day. They sent me a text about an hour before our designated apt time to see if they would be able to come a little early because the technician was already in my area. We agreed but when the guy got there he spent about 10 minutes spraying lubricant on the tracks of our 2 garage doors and then I got a call from my husband (I was only a few blocks away, on my way home). He was being pressured into a $600 repair and wanted to know what I thought. I said, "no way!" and was home in a few minutes. When I got there, I was greeted by very sketchy guy who immediately started in on the major repairs that our doors needed and that he would make us a good offer if we did the repair today. When I stated that we only wanted to do the tune-up, that we were aware that we needed to make some repairs on our doors (one of them is very noisy along the track but works) he said that we would be sorry and that if we waited we would be looking at a $1000 repair. He said, "I'll be back for your $1000 repair-you'll see!". Again we had to stand firm on only wanting the tune and lube. Emphasis on the lube. Later my husband said he only lubed the track in a few places and did nothing more. It was an $80 lesson!! I was even told that my attitude was "getting better" as the apt went on. He was adamant we do the repair right away. We CLEARLY were baited with the advertised "special" for the sole purpose of making a bigger sale. He even sized up our house, making comments on it and asking what we did for a living, etc. Super sketchy!! Services Rendered: Hired for "lube and tune" garage door service as advertised in ValPak

Excellent! Called around 10am on a Sunday, and the work was done by 4pm this afternoon. Kenny and Mike were very professional, gave me options of what I could or could not do to get the door working like new. They did what I wanted and the door works like new for what I consider a reasonable price, especially on a Sunday. Would definitely recommend this company and this crew. Will call them again! Services Rendered: Repair and replace a broken tension spring on a double garage door.
