Google5We had a fantastic experience getting our new garage door and system installed! When the team realized our selected color wasn’t in stock within our needed time frame due to selling our home, they immediately found a great solution at no additional cost. They were absolute pros — fast, reliable, and right on time. Justin was awesome to work with and made the entire process so smooth. We will definitely be using them again in the future! Highly recommend and our garage door looked absolutely amazing!

Google5My home still had the original Overhead Door installed by the builder (16+ years ago). The original homeowner had selected a less expensive, plain white door with no windows or insulation. The garage was pretty cold in the winter and heated up in summer too. I called Overhead Door out for routine maintenance about a year ago, and asked their tech Dale about replacing it. He explained their process and gave me a catalog to see some of the available styles and colors. I was ready to upgrade a few weeks ago and their sales rep Justin came by to start the process. The door arrived and we set an install date, and this week a gorgeous, insulated, steel-backed door was installed. Everything was replaced down to the rails, and it has a wi-fi capable opener that's so much quieter it's amazing. The door really enhances the outside appearance of my home too. I didn't write down the install tech's names, but they were courteous, very efficient, and left the work area tidy and clean. I would recommend Overhead Door of Lexington for your home or business if you have any garage door maintenance, repair, or replacement needs.

Google5Our neighbors home caught on fire which resulted in our garage door being warped from the heat. The guys from Overhead Door installed a new one that looks great and is super quiet. Google5My experience with Jason, Matt, Keaton and Crystal was above and beyond what I imagined. I imagined good service in a timely manner. What I got was great service sooner than I expected. My garage door looks "Awesome" and works "Wonderfully". The pricing is reasonable and there are several choices of styles to choose from. Overhead Door of Lexington is who I called and I will not hesitate to call on them again. Shout out to Emily also. Google5Overhead Door of Lexington replaced our garage door this month. We welcomed the installation a couple of days ahead of schedule and Matt and Eddie got straight to work, confidently deconstructing the old door and replacing it with the new one. We were pleased with the amount of time it took to install which was again, faster than they planned. They even helped reassign a new keypad code for me because I had forgotten mine. When we put the order in for a new door we were told that it was taking about 3 weeks for the orders to arrive and that was true for us. In all, we are pleased with this service and would recommend Overhead Door of Lexington to our neighbors.

Google5Have used OverHead in Virginia and was satisfied so called the Lexington office to have garage doors replaced. Very pleased with everyone involved. The repairman/salesman,Tony was excellent. My two installers, Matt and Eddie, were so very pleasant to work with. I was kept up to date on their arrival time and told what time they expected to finish. Very very happy with the entire process. Do recommend to anyone needing door work!

Google5Had a good experience with Overhead Door of Lexington, sales rep Chris arrived on time, laid out all my options and what I was looking for. Took a little longer than expected to get the door from the manufacturer. The install was seamless and timely. Joey and Justin were professional and courteous, the door looks amazing! Overhead door is the only way to go if your in the market for a garage door. Thanks again!!

BBB5Deboria Gore Our garage door was repaired today, 07/26/2023. Dayle, the technician, was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained a few things about the workings of the door and pointed out a couple things that could have been done better on the initial installation. Very satisfied with the repair and would definitely request him if there are any other garage door repairs. Super technician and great job.

Yelp1Garage door needed new spring. Technician came on time and completed work within 1/2 hour, then charged me $380.55 and did not provide me with a bill. I agree with another reviewer that this company's employees do appear to sock it to elderly people - women in particular. I called them for the repair because I had dealt with them 3 times before, once here and twice in 2 other states, and was impressed with their response time, work and cost. I will get another company next time.

Yelp5I had a garage door with came off the track and I was called by a friend who saw it partially open in the middle of the night so I called early the next morning and had gone out into the garage and saw that the track of the garage door was off and I called them and they came right out and put the track back on, and lubricated every hinge in every one of the doors and it work like clockwork. It's nearly silent now when it was noisy before and all of the doors seem to work beautifully. I'll see them every year for continuing service.

Yelp5Tuesday 4/13/2021: I contacted Overhead Doors of Lexington, KY because one of our rental homes garage was not working. I looked at the garage and it appeared that the spring was broken. I made an appointment with OD of Lexington to come and look at the garage the next day, Wednesday. The OD of Lexington advised it would cost about $190 to replace a spring. Wednesday 4/14/2021: I contacted OD of Lexington early in the AM and was advised they would text/call when they were in route to look at my garage. They contacted me around 0830, saying they would arrive between 1-3pm and would contact me when they were on their way. They contacted me and showed up at 230pm (within their window) to fix the garage door. The work they did: They replaced the garage door spring and made sure the door was in good working condition. Cost for new parts and service: (new spring, labor) $180.00 I paid over the phone. Convenient! Well, worth the money. Thank you Overhead Doors of Lexington! Great job. Jim W

Yelp1Call this company this morning to inquire about the purchase of safety sensors. They advised me they have them in stock but would not sell them to me because they were not open to the public due to the pandemic. Said they would gladly come out for a service call to inspect and install them if needed. Or that I could go online and purchase them. I went on their website and no where do I find the ability to purchase anything online. If customer service is what you're looking for you've come to the wrong place, I would not recommend using this company at all during a pandemic or otherwise.

Yelp2I was given a 3 hour window to have some work done on my garage door, the technician called my cell phone 1 hour and 20 min. past the window and said he was on the way---I said forget it. I hate when service companies waste my time, I reschedule my day around their "time windows" and 75% of the time they are later or don't show at all. If so many service appointments weren't crammed into 1 day for greed's sake, maybe these company's would be on time.

Yelp1I called because my door sometimes (rarely)opens for no reason. The moment that the guy got here all he did was try to sell me a new door and motor. My motor is fine just has gotten on another frequency. Basically got no service at all but just a $104.00 service call that wouldn't be applied to the new $400.00 motor. The door has had a dent in it since we bought the house 15 years ago and all the guy focused on was selling me a new door. Really disappointed "service".

Angi5I needed a repair on an emergency basis on a Sunday since my door was stuck closed with the car inside. Billy B. was the technician sent to carry out my repair. He found the problem immediately upon visual inspection and repaired the door quickly. Billy is a shining example of excellent customer service. The repair was definitely worth the reasonable price - especially for an emergency call. Services Rendered: Billy B. changed the large spring at the top of my Overhead Door which had broken causing the cable to unwind and rewound the cable.

Angi5Dale Welch did the work on three garage doors for me on 8/25/23. Keeping in mind that the temps hit a high of 93 degrees, he STILL knocked out all three doors in about an hour. This wasn't just an install, either. He installed two on the upper level, then took one of the old units at my request and installed it in the lower level garage. He took the time after to walk me through the app and connected the bluetooth to my phone Overall just a friendly competent guy, he's the exact type of person you want showing up to do a job!
