Google1If I could give a ZERO .. I would . When I looked at yhe reviews I got worried but I said ahh I can give them a try , but Javier was sent out from First American Insurance to fix my garage door spring . I sent pictures and size of the spring 40 and he brought a 35 inche spring . Javier came with a bad attitude/rude and after he put it and open the garage door , he got mad 😡 coz I told him that my door was heavy and it needed the right size . Then he said quote’’ I am doing you a favor but ok I will take my spring with me’ . After that Javier told me that I needed a new door coz my door was trash . then I told him you should had told me before coming inside my house and change it and then removed it .🙁 It was a mess plus he buffed my torsion tube with a machine 😳😳but thank God I got different quotes and 3 technicians told me that door still good to proceed with the job. No need of a new door and my garage door opener is good too only had a loose screw which is fixed now.

Google5Couldn’t be happier with the install and service provided by AC Overhead Garage Door Co., removing my old door, and installation of the new one in just a few hours. The quality of the door is second to none, and the ease of being able to control the opener and keep an eye on the garage remotely is great.

Google1I went through my home owners insurance to get service to my garage. Everything was fully covered and paid with the exception of some additional service that was likely an up sale to get an additional $125.00 out of me, I had no issue with this service however upon completion the technician advised that they did not accept my form of payment, which was an American Express. The technician was professional however, the owner of the company Antonio was very rude and disrespectful when I got on the phone with him and explained that all I had was my American Express for the payment and no one advised that they did not accept my form of payment to begin with. When I got on the phone with Antonio, he said he finds it very hard to believe that all I had was an American Express card to make the payment and demanded that I find another way to pay the $125 I let him know that unfortunately of his beliefs this was my only form of payment and I have no issue paying him, However, this is all that I have. Antonio proceeded to threaten me with placing a lien on my home for the $125. Extremely unprofessional, I would not suggest anyone do business with someone who would threaten their customers and not try to find a different route when faced with this unfortunate circumstance.

Google5Lets start with, i manage a lot of different trades in the new home building industry. The whole process was smooth. Every person I spoke with was super friendly, and the techs did a great job at install. There was an extended eta for getting the doors (everyone is going through in the home building industry), but the estimated time was spot on, and the doors were installed correctly the first time. Would definantly recommend.

Google1Liked how they handled the go between with the home owners insurance company and pleased with the finished product. It only took a week to get the job done. The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 is that they aren’t a local (Bakersfield) company where the house is at and the date given had to be rescheduled to the next day due to tech calling out. Otherwise, a great experience with this company. 7/25/23 UPDATE It’s unfortunate that I have to update my prior review. The work that was done by AC Garage door was bad. On 7/22 the replaced cable broke. The company that came out, king door, stated that the proper cable wasn’t used. It was a self made cable that wasn’t going to last. We have the one that AC used and are willing to show anyone that asks. I have asked our home warranty to not have this company service us or anyone else. It’s a shame that we were given homemade equipment.

Google1We ended up canceling our home warranty insurance because they sent this kind of company that is not local and this people come down to the city and recover as much money by charging extra. They charge us $210 for the service for our doors and concise in spraying W-40 at the garage door. We call them because our door didn’t work properly we call them and they told us they couldn’t help us. My wife made a bad review The owner contacted her and said in order to help with the matter she shall remove the bad review and they never contacted her again. They changed our garage door opener that we believe it work but they asked the home warranty for a new one and they took the old one instead of putting it in the trash if it didn’t work.

Google5Professional company and professional technician. New motor paid for by my home warranty company (fidelity Home Warranty). The motor is quiet and my insulated steel back door moves with ease. I love the new motor 🤗

Google3The picture with the hole in the wall is how the "professional" installer left it when I paid for an up-to-code opener $250 over and above the $100 home warranty deductible. The first AC installer told us to cap the hole ourselves. As you can see that would still leave exposed wires. The second picture is after I fixed it myself for under $2 and 5 minutes. Now I have two unnecessary holes in the wall. Come on AC! Go the extra mile and do it right the first time. Also, the first installer not only left an ugly mess, they also didn’t properly setup the zone for the remote control to work properly. The second installer came out and fixed it, but I still had to redo to wall mount controller. I also had to provide my own. Light bulb—they could have used the bulb from the old opener, but no. 14 days from problem to get it right. You can do better, AC. Put a box of faceplates in the trucks and maybe a few light bulbs. Geez!

Angi4WE HAD NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER. THE SALESMAN THAT CAME OUT WAS VERY NICE AND VERY FRIENDLY. THEY STOOD WITH THE SAME PRICE THEY HAD TOLD ME EVEN THOUGH THE PRICE HAD GONE UP. THE INSTALLERS WERE EXCELLENT AND HARD WORKING. Services Rendered: THEY TOOK OUT THE OLD GARAGE DOOR AND PUT IN A NEW ONE.
