Google3Service at the time of install was great. We needed new springs for our garage door. They had 1 year warranty. Our door started sticking and not raising all the way exactly 1 year and 4 days later. Had another company come out and look at it. Turns out the springs placed by OGD were for a garage door 40 lbs lighter than what we had. I called OGD to ask when our warranty was up and was told it had just passed the date. The guy on the other line couldn’t have cared less that the wrong size were installed to begin with.

Google5It was a Sunday and my garage door would not open. This company sent someone within 2 hours. Repairs were made and I was able to get my car out. Highly recommend these guys for fast and efficient service.

Google5Alexander arrived at my home within 15 minutes of calling OGD. He was professional and explained the issue and fixed the problem and then went over and beyond oiled both doors and taught me how to do it myself next time. Please give him a raise and take care of this excellent employee.

Google5Our garage door spring broke just after 5:00. I called expecting to have to wait until the next day. Technician was arrived within 15 minutes and the door was fixed within the hour! Keith the technician was great, and professional! Definitely recommend.

Google1I wish I had read the reviews prior to calling these guys! As you can see my star rating, I would not recommend this Company. First off, I was told upfront, that the service technician would be arriving between 12:30 and 2:30 the day of service. I arrange my day to be available for the technician to arrive. He arrived at 5pm the day of service. He made no call to say he was running late. I actually called the company to find out if he still had plans to come and fix, and i was told he would call and give me an estimated time of arrival. No call, until he was halfway to my home. BUT HERE IS the worst part of this whole charade. THE COST and the job done..........the technician spent 30 minutes on my barn garage. The cost to fix two wires (which was reattach to the motor) and inspect the door was $458.98 The technician, did fix my problem, however at a cost not acceptable. I was charged for Lubrication and inspection of Rollers (no lubrication what so ever) I was charged to adjust and Lubricate springs ( no adjustment, no lubrication) The list went on. Needless to say, either they are trying to go out of business, or rip off the consumer until they have enough to retire. I observed the whole process and was so disgusted by how I was charged. I paid the invoice against my satisfaction, and now want to let folks know to pick another Garage Door company when that time arrives.

My Garage door was acting up (wasn’t closing) their Tech came and lo and behold the garage door was not acting up anymore before he even touched it or did anything 🤷♀️ so I said to just let it be and if it acts up again I’ll let them know. He said it would be an X amount to “replace the motor” if I decide to do it. They charged me $59 just because he came to look that day. Ok. Well next week the door started acting up again so I called and the SAME tech came out (he was 1 hr 15 minutes late and missed his scheduled 4-hr appt window) and this time he quoted me a different price because he said his supervisor is not in the office anymore (since he was late it was after hrs) and so now it’s a different price. I’m sure to ANYBODY this sounds very shady. So I called the company and explained to them what’s going on. The person on the phone said his supervisor or another staff will be calling me back. About 5-7 minutes later the tech knocked on my door and asked me to move my car, which I did, and then just left. No explanation, no phone call came either. When I called them back immediately, the same guy I spoke with on the phone tells me the price given to me last week was for “garage door maintenance”, not “motor replacement” and that it was a “miscommunication”. My English is perfect and so is the tech’s. Miscommunication? When asked why the tech didn’t just explain that and why he delved into the whole “my supervisor is not in the office and he quoted you that price last week but now it’s a different price because it’s just me today” story, no answer followed. He stated he had no idea why the tech gave a different reason. And then said I can call their supervisor on Monday and talk to him. So they wasted my entire day that I could’ve asked someone else to fix the garage door by having to wait for them for 5+ hours to show up late just to quote me a different price for shady reasons. And what was bothersome is that the person on the phone was sticking up for the tech, even though he couldn’t give me a reason for why the tech gave a different explanation for the price discrepancy just minutes ago than the one he himself just gave! I don’t know how they service industry, but for residential areas, steer clear of them folks!

Google1I have used this company in the past with excellent results. Today was not the case. I asked them to come out to look at my door with a little hail damage, look at the tracks and rollers. The technician had a service fee which was fine. To lubricate the door was going to be $700, we said that was too much. He then he came down to $150 plus the service fee to lube the door. $3900 to replace the door. The customer service guy had a total sell the most he can attitude. I excepted the service I had had in the past and that was not the case today. I will be looking for a different garage door company.
