BBB1I called this business yesterday (8/29/2023) for an estimate about garage door and opener replacement. I was given a time of between 12 and 2 today (8/30/2023). No one has shown up and their phone rings once and then hangs up. I wanted to use this business because they are convenient to my home, but now am very concerned about doing business with a company that doesn't honor its appointments and has this phone issue.

Google5During the week of heavy rain and flooding in Chicago my garage door spring broke. I called PolDoor and Adam had a tech at my house at 10am, had the springs at my garage by 12:30 and Greg was installing the new springs by 2:30. Greg went over everything to make sure the door closed correctly and even helped with the outdoor keypad. I would definitely recommend PolDoor for any garage door needs

Google5I called to have my garage door adjusted as it was not staying down. POLDOOR was there a couple hours later and had the door working properly within minutes. I was a little stunned when asked what I owed him, and he said no charge. He was still paid, but you won't find excellent, honest service like this anywhere. Highly recommended!!

Google5The Pol Door Team was able to come to our house same day and temporarily fix our garage springs so we could use the door while they ordered the parts. Then they came the next day with the parts and finished the job. Great service at a fair price!

Google5Long story short, we damaged our garage door the day before we were scheduled to leave for vacation. The garage door would not close and it was almost 5pm. I called a few places and understandably nobody answered right away. I found Poldoor's information on a Facebook group page for our neighborhood and - lucky for us - somebody answered when we called them. The owner and his son came by in less than 30 minutes (probably on their way home after a long day), managed to close the door for us, and gave us a quick estimate of what needed to be fixed/replaced. He was also kind enough not to charge us for his services. The next morning we received a very professional and itemized proposal to replace the garage door. Within a week of making a final decision, the new garage door and all of the components were installed while we were at work. We are EXTREMELY satisfied with the quality of the product, the attention to detail, and the communication we received throughout the process. We HIGHLY recommend this company and will continue to call on them with any of our garage door needs.
