The garage door of 15 years was SCREECHING. Did you know those rollers needed to be oiled? We didn't. Callahan had installed our garage door when Jack Lehman of Candlewood fame built our garage. Jack always used great subcontractors, so we knew Callahan would be a wise choice to fix whatever was wrong with our garage door. Charge was the service call and parts. We were so pleased that we asked them if they service garage doors in Columbus. We are awaiting their response. Thanks, Jeff.

Wow! Just like out of the movie Money Pit with Tom Hanks. Tried to keep things local and saw they offered replacement windows, I called them four days ago and had been waiting on a return call from their estimator. I called today to inquire about the call back and was connected with somebody named Mike who seemed bothered by my call. After an agreed upon date for the visit, he could not schedule a time but said he would call me that morning to let me know when he could fit me in. I let him know that his competition actually sets up appointment days and times and that my time is just as important as his. It makes you wonder if this is an indication of what it would be like to actually get the job done.

Had them install a new garage door opener. They came out the next day and the service was outstanding. Very professional and friendly. They cleaned up everything after the installation. Couldn't even tell they were there. Opener operates perfectly. I highly recommend them.

Outstanding in every way. Prompt and professional service for a fair price. My residential garage door spring broke at 7pm. Called and left a message with Callahan at 7:30. 8:30 the following morning they called, asked a few short questions and within 4 hours the tech arrived. The tech efficiently replaced the broken spring and cables ( they were old too and should be replaced while door is not under tension). The total job was completed in 40 minutes and now I can use my door again! Thanks to Callahan for making what I thought would be a costly hassle into a very pleasant experience.

Arrived on time. Very knowledgeable and good work crew. This is the third time we have had Callahans. They replaced 2 doors at our old house, replaced our garage door here and now the door to the deck. I don't believe I would ever call anyone else. Would also like to note that Bob was a huge help in getting us a door we liked in our price range. Services Rendered: Took out sliding glass door and framed in for a new French door that was smaller. Put new cedar on outside and finished it off.

Contractor arrived on time and began work promptly. Front door and front picture window were replaced the first day. Informed contractor that garage overhead door torsion spring had failed over the weekend and requested replacement. Defective spring was replaced promptly the following morning. Replacement of basement windows with glass block windows was also completed the second day. Trim ordered to complete front window replacement was received a couple of days later and was installed. Work was completed professionally and quickly. Care was also taken to protect and clean property both indoors and out. Definitely planning on using this contractor again to replace other doors and windows. Services Rendered: Replaced front door, front picture window, basement windows w/ glass block, and defective garage overhead door torsion spring.

Team arrived first thing in the morning to get started. Removed old door and molding and took it away. Installed Aluminum Molding around door. Installed new door opener and cleaned up when they were done. Took every last scrap with them. Job was done very professionally. Highly recommended. Over all experience was very good. From visiting their showroom to the installation, to completion. Very comfortable company to work with. All they do is Doors. Quality products available at a fair price. Very stress free process with great installers! They have been doing this for a while and it shows in the speed and efficiency of their work. Highly recommend them. Services Rendered: installed a new Hurd 6068 sliding french patio door unit with removable wood grill, sliding screen, bright brass lockset. Also replaced our old garage back door with a Provia 2868 RH 6 panel steel entry door in prefinished red and repaired our entry door from garage into house that had moved, reset frame and trim. They were a delight to work with. Installed the entry doors in the garage within two weeks of estimate. Came and went in less then one day, taking all old items with them when they left. Crew is professional and well trained. Only reason that I did not give them a excellent for over all experience is with the patio door. When they first installed it they discovered defects with the unit with regards to the slider and screen set up that were discovered after installation. The original also was delivered without the ordered staining. They reordered the unit and returned and very quickly removed the defective door and installed the replacement. Again, very quickly and professionally. We are extremely happy with all our doors, especially the new patio french door. Had we known how much it would add to the over-all look of the inside of the house we would have done this much sooner. I believe the price was fair based on what we had done. They kept us advised as to all timetables during the process as well. This is a project that you could go to a Lowes or Home Depot and have them install with a much less expensive door system but if you want a quality product installed professionally that is going to last, Callahan Door is the only call to make.

The technician was very polite and was able to spot the problem as soon as he came inside the garage. He explained that one side of the spring was broken and we went over the pro's and con's of replacing both sides vs just the broken side. While he gave me no gurantee that the good side would not break (told me it could happen tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, etc) he did inform me that since I was planning on replacing the whole door with in the year that replacing the spring now would not save me on the new gargade door when I did decide to replace it, that the spring would again have to be replaced. With that knowledge I only replaced the broken side and have full intention on calling them when I am ready to replace the entire unit. Services Rendered: on my two car garage door the spring on the right side was broken. I less than an hour the spring was fixed and the garage door was operational again.
