BBB2I contracted with a company that supplies and installs garage doors that are manufactured by CHI.I have been experiencing issues with the garage door insulation leaking out causing orange stains over the write door. it started immediately after the install and has continued for 2 months.

BBB1I own a small garage door company that has been buying CHI for the past 2-3 years.Everything was great until about the last year, when prices skyrocketed and quality plummeted.Im presently fighting for reimbursement on a door that shouldnt have passed inspection.Occasionally doors are scratched or dented, but these sections were built wrong.One section was overfilled with polyurethane foam causing a large gap were the sections meet and the other had the center mounting plate for the hinge offset by 6.Then not long after I received a door with sections that werent correctly glued, so the outside steel sheet would bubble and move.I emailed the ********* regional manager at CHI and he sent me some ** response stating that they will send replacement sections, but are not likely to pay my labor.If the product was built correctly in the first place I wouldnt have to to go back at all, so I dont see why I should do the needed labor for free on their behalf. I have emailed constantly for the past month fighting for my reimbursement with zero response, almost like theyre ignoring me now.CHI is a company that doesnt back its products, doesnt care about quality, and ignores its customers when theres a legitimate claim for reimbursement.Ive had similar problems with other companies in the past, and they all made it right after realizing it was their flaw, but CHI doesnt have any accountability for theirs.
