Yelp5I had a large garbage door installed . The price was reasonable, service on time, very clean, communication between the company and I was immediate. They told me exactly what I needed to have ready for the job. I would highly recommend them. Other companies wanted to charge so much more money to do the exact same job. I greatly appreciated the great job .

Google5I called at 8:30 and technician was working by 11:00. I needed a new opener. It came with 2 remotes and a keypad. The work was done timely, neatly, and all my many questions were answered patiently. Highly recommend!

Google5On a VERY cold (-6deg) December 23rd your installation tech, Ed, came to see why my garage door wouldn't open about 1pm - i had called the office only that same morning. After a bit of diagnosis he determined that the door itself and the springs were ok. But my 20-year old electric opener had failed. I thought that he would have to order a new opener and schedule an install date. Nope. Ed said he had a new unit on his truck and could install it right then. I was AMAZED. He set up a work table and ladder inside my garage and got to work. Less than 3 hours later I had a brand new Chamberlain belt-drive, WiFi enabled door opener. Complete with 2 remote controls and an external keypad remote mounted on my door frame. I confidently recommend Joe Ruhland Door Co for anyone who needs a door, am opener, or service.

Google5Fantastic customer service and work! I manage a little over 200 properties throughout Milwaukee and Joe Ruhland Door Co is absolutely fantastic! We have used them for repairs and replacing the actual garage door and opener. Dan and his crew are more than honest and they clean up after themselves. If something were to break, I shoot Dan a text and within the next 24 hours, a crew member is out there and it is fixed. I highly recommend Joe Ruhland Door Co! Angi5Called after 5 on a Thursday, got an appointment for the next morning. Ed arrived on time and did a very thorough and professional job - replaced several parts and got the door working like new. Ed told me what he was doing and why, and he also informed me about how to maintain the door to keep it working as it should. Services Rendered: Garage door wouldn’t close.

Google1Please Please do not buy or use this company. We were recommended to them by a friend. She used them when it was Joe coming out himself. Since the company has been sold I wouldn't trust them. They came out to my house on 5/25 to replace cables. They replaced said cables and just over a month later we had more issues. Called them on June 29th to tell them that now our whole garage door was shaking. They told me that they could come and replace the springs for an additional $500 and some dollars. We told them no. We didn't really use the garage and finally this week called another company to have them come look. They came and showed me today how my cables were fraying apart that were just replaced. We had them fix our garage door and their work came with a 10 year warranty. I called Joe Ruhland to see what they would do about this since we needed to replace what they just did. They said nothing and that the company that I used is a scam artist. They said yes that cables can go back but that their was nothing I could do. Save yourself the heartache and go with any other company around. This company is garbage. You can see between the springs how the cables are fraying apart. They were coming apart in lots of other areas to. I just didn't picture them all. I'm very happy with the new fix and it comes with a 10 year warranty. Joe Ruhland's equipment didn't even last 100 days!!!

Angi5Outstanding service! Dan set up an appointment the same day (surprised me) and Ed did a great job reattaching the cable that came loose and oiling the doors for smoother opening/closing. They don't sound new but definitely better. Great communication, on time, and fast, quality work. Service call was $95 and that was the full charge. Services Rendered: Door cable repair and oiling

Google5Joe replaced our garage door springs a year or two ago. He was incredibly priced and I was able to have him do it and bill me electronically while I was at work at the office. He was incredibly prompt, trustworthy, courteous, and completely professional. Joe is our new garage guy.

Angi5After calling around to several recommended garage door repair shops on Saturday of Labor Day weekend, most did not answer the phone. One service did answer, but I could not get an appointment until Tuesday. Called the number from the installation sticker on the door (it was installed in 1992!), and Joe answered right away. He lives in the neighborhood and would be over in an hour. Great same day service! Services Rendered: Replaced broken spring on 2 car garage door

Google5Joe is great! He came out and replaced our broken keypad, reprogrammed our garage remotes, and provided excellent customer service the whole time. Fair pricing, too. Highly recommended.

Google5Regarding my garage doors, I have many positive experiences with Joe and his company over the last 20 years or so. He is fair, honest, professional and responds promptly to all calls, and emergencies are handled the same day. Top shelf man and does great work.

Angi5Joe Ruhland has been servicing our garage door needs for many years. He is always prompt, dependable, and fair. When he learned our garage door opener was no longer functioning, he offered to come out the same day and replace it. We would not consider calling any other company for our garage door needs. Services Rendered: Replaced a 20-year old garage door opener for an oversized garage door.

Angi5I contacted Joe based upon a friend's suggestion and his Angie's ratings. I called him with the intention of replacing the old garage overhead door and opener/closer. Joe arrived to inspect the old door and opener/closer on time. Joe was very helpful selecting the new door, added features, windows and my best option opener/closer. For the installation he arrived on time; completed the installation in the time frame he quoted it would be completed; and the installation and set up seem to be perfect. He uses a third party for the removal of the old components and that person arrived and removed the old parts, before Joe was done and gone. Joe was very professional and easy to work with. I strongly recommend Joe's services. Services Rendered: Removed old overhead door and door opener/closer; installed and setup replacement overhead door and new opener/closer. He had all of the old parts removed in a very timely fashion.
