Google5Nicholas Daniels from PDQ Garage Door Services was great! With 23 years of experience in this field, I can attest that he is a professional at what he does. He explained everything from locating all the hinges (to apply lubricant once a year), to where the backup battery is (in case there is a power outage). He also showed us where and how to rebalance the springs (easy-set spring system). He made sure to point out the light sensors at the bottom of the garage door (circled in the photos). He mentioned that these sensors have to be aligned and would have to be a solid light to work properly. If the sensor lights were moved by accident, the lights will be blinking and the garage door will not open. I appreciate that he asked and welcomed any questions I may have and assured that everything is good to go before he leaves. Thank you so much for your service! **Please excuse the bottom right part of the garage door (small opening), there is crack on the cement ground, which is unleveled, but that was there prior to our garage door installation service.

Google5Nick and Sean at PDQ Garage Door Service were excellent to work with. Before I called them I knew exactly what I wanted and they gave me tentative quote over the phone which my wife and I found to be very reasonable. Sean came out within a couple of days and confirmed the measurements and the quote was exactly what was quoted over the phone - no upsell and no pressure. The vinyl-backed insulated garage door we wanted was in-stock and Sean and Nick installed it the following week. By far one of the easiest contractors that we've dealt with during the ownership of our home and we'd highly recommend them. Thanks!

BBB5Thanks alot great job. Our garage door wire cable was rusted and snapped causing the garage door to fall and damage the hinges and spring. Our garage door bottom panel was damaged and rusted as well. Well it took about 6 weeks for the panel to arrive but it matched perfectly. Everything was fixed or replaced within our budget. Thanks Nick!

BBB1They quoted us 450 for a new unit, keypad, two remotes and new sensors. They charged my elderly dad 600. They did not install a new unit, its still the old one, there is no keypad, no remotes and no new sensors. This business is an absolute SCAM. Stay away and never do business with them.

BBB5I contacted PDQ to have service done on my garage door opener. They were there the next day and installed a new opener for a really low price. Fast and friendly service that I would highly recommend to others.

Google5I don't know if PDQ has other workers, but Nick is a great guy. He's punctual and communicates thoroughly. We had a spring break (not the fun kind), which turned into, oh no, this thing is falling apart. At least unlike cars, you can clearly see what's bad. He clearly explained what was wrong and the implications. Our vertical tracks were completely rotted away with rust, exposing the bottom rollers. The bearings were grindy and shot. He spent the time replacing the springs, bearings, cables, vertical tracks, and rollers. He also took the time to lubricate the existing opener. Only during testing of the door did we discover together that my opener was smoking. So needless to say (almost auto corrected to needles to say haha), this got a lot more expensive for me. Throughout the process, he was talkative, and very conscientious about his work. Whoever worked on it when this house was built was not. He cut the bottoms of the tracks so they wouldn't sit in the salt water from the cars. Sadly, we had to wait to get the new opener installed for the week. So, spending extra time, he installed a lock and a hose for us so we could use it. Installing of the opener was easy. He showed us all of the features and even brought his awesome cleaner to help clean the grease off the door from one of my failed lubrication attempts. Overall, great to work with. FYI, he does have emergency service for an extra charge.

Google5PDQ is now our go-to place for garage door service. Very knowledgeable - replaced a broken spring (previous repair company used wring size spring), got door balanced perfectly. Also replaced some other parts that needed attention. We recently called PDQ back to replace two openers. Great service again.

Google5Would recommend to anyone needing reliable garage door service. Had my garage door replaced on 08/24/2023. Waited 3 weeks for the job to be done tho apparently special orders take longer from factory whereas regular run-of-the-mill doors are quicker to get. Anywho, Nick is very personable and chatty. Lol.

Google5Excellent products and service. Came at 7pm for initial service call, fixed my door, gave me a good quote for a replacement. No attempt to up-sell, they didn't claim that the expensive doors were the way to go, only cosmetically better. So I decided to go ahead and replace my 30-year-old door. The ordering process was smooth and they communicated well about when to expect it, and then showed up promptly to install as soon as it was ready from the factory. Love my new door!
