Google5The whole experience was great. I talked to a live person (Sarah), when scheduling the appointment. She walked me through exactly what to expect during the service call. Jeffrey arrived right on time and was very knowledgeable and kind. My new motor is great. Definitely recommend this company.

Google1Half star….only cuz the guy that showed seemed like a good guy. Unfortunately this place is a scam. I didn’t actually have them do any work, my guess is they do a fine job. However, 3X the price for a simple spring repair just doesn’t add up. Then they try the whole high pressure sales bit with getting the manager on the phone, lowering the price to 2X instead of 3X and wasting more time. These guys are quick and easy but there are better options.

Google5Branden did a great job today! He was fast an efficient and kept me informed every step of the way. He did his best to work within my budget! Will def be requesting Branden to come back and do some follow up work that I didn’t get done today!

Google5Mike was great. Friendly and knowledgeable. We needed our current garage door repaired and aren't in the market for a new door right now. Mike was respectful of this and fixed our door for a fair price. He answered my questions about pricing for a new door in the future with no high pressure sales tactics. Based on his representation, would recomend A1 to anyone.

Google5I cannot say enough about how wonderful these guys are!! They kept me informed at every step, they gave me options on the levels of products, and showed me all the broken pieces and parts so I knew what they were talking about! I am extremely happy I chose A1, and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs work on their garage door! Will not hesitate to call them again!!

Google5Mike was the Best! Well spoken and friendly. I received notification via text he was coming, and arrived on time. Knowledgeable, and took time to explain the process, cost and possible needs to get the job done right. He worked with his Supervisor and my husband that was on the phone to get us a deal we could afford. I had to go to work and he opened the door so I could leave. He locked the doors and left my garage clean and tidy! We will work A-1 in any future projects, and will recommend to friends and family! Thank you for a great experience!

Google5Very easy and straightforward. Hit the budget I had and no markups for extras. The installer showed up on time and diligently completed the job. Even waited an extra 30 minutes for me to arrive to go over the installation with. All in all they did a great job from beginning to end and I’d recommend to anyone who wants the job done right, on time and on budget.

Angi1BEWARE. STAY AWAY. They replaced the garage door opener unit. It cost me about $400 dollars. That part went fine. HOWEVER, just a few months later my garage door wouldn't close. I called them to ask for help. I was informed that they only offer a 90 day warranty and I was NINE days past that time period. They said it would cost an $85 service fee for them just to come out and look at it and then whatever labor and parts it cost to fix it. I asked if I could speak with someone else and if there was anything they could do to help me. I reminded them it cost me hundreds of dollars and I would expect it to work longer than 90 days. The lady said sorry, it's 9 days past warranty. Most companies will work with you in a situation like this to keep the customer happy, but they absolutely wouldn't budge. I asked if they could waive the service fee or something and just have someone come look at it. Again, nope. Too bad. You're 9 days out of warranty. There's nothing we can do to help you. I would NEVER recommend doing business with a company that won't work with the customer, that won't stand behind a product or a repair job. Clearly they don't care about keeping my business. I will let my friends know NOT to ever use this company and I would highly recommend you don't either. It might be fine for the install, but if you have a problem with the job, they won't flex to help you. Services Rendered: Installed new garage door opener

Angi3see above Services Rendered: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I found this company from an Ad in ValPak. I called and told them I needed a spring replaced. They came and didn't have any springs (??) so they had to reschedule. They showed up an hour early on the next scheduled day, and started calling me- bothering me at work. They replaced the spring and did some other maintenance, it definitely cost more than I was expecting. NOW- 2 days later, this guy is calling me (AGAIN, AT WORK) saying that he left some tools in our garage and he needs to get them ASAP. He insists on coming tonight, when my children are in bed- my dogs will bark and wake up my kids. He doesn't care. This technician is extremely rude and gives the entire company a bad name. I need some more work done on our other property, I won't be calling this company.

Angi1DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! We had a technician come out and service our garage door. The technician that came out was named Holly, she also had a gentleman with her but I did not get his name. They inspected our garage door and everything with it, ended up just replacing all the nylon rollers and said everything else looked good/fine. They said their work has a lifetime warranty.......yeah right, if you can ever get them to call you back! Our garage door worked fine for a few weeks after they did their work, but then it started not closing properly and sometimes not at all. I have contacted and left messages for these people 4 different times and sent emails, with no response. I called the number that Holly left for us and my calls go directly to a voice mail for a woman named Lindsay, and the message says I have reached A1 Garage Door Company, but I have not received one call back yet. They say they also have 24 hour service......again, if you could only get a hold of someone, EVER! Our garage door would not close one night at all, called them with no answer or any call back, again! Plus they have at least 6 different numbers to call, really!? You would think that with that many numbers you would reach someone....nope, just the voice mail for Lindsey, and no call back! I would not recommend this company to anyone, and I will never use their services again! Services Rendered: We made an appointment because our garage door would not close properly and would get stuck, sometimes not closing at all. They actually showed up within the 2 hour window that they said they would, which was good. They inspected our whole garage door system (did not bother looking at our manual garage door openers, the ones you have in your car) and said that our nylon rollers needed to be replaced, so they replaced those. They said that everything else looked fine. They said they had a lifetime warranty on their work and the rollers that were replaced, we had all 10 of our nylon rollers replaced at $10.00 each, so that was $100.00. Then they charged $129.00 for the labor, so with tax and everything it came to $246.00. That seemed a bit high to me, but they were recommended by some of our family, so we just went with them. Should have done more research and went with someone else!

Angi4I have no issue with the work this company did for me. They replaced the springs in my garage door for what I believe to be a reasonable price. I have no reason to be either dissatisfied or delighted with the work, they did their job, earning a "B". Starting from initial contact, though, I'm a bit put off by their sales tactics. They distribute a coupon in a mass mailing offering to replace a garage door spring for $128. Once you contact them, though, the upsell begins, offering to replace both of them for $178. I had no need of replacing both springs, only one was broken and I plan to sell the house. After convincing the sales rep I only wanted one spring replaced, I thought I was finished but no, I wasn't there when the service tech arrived so he continued the upsell, convincing her to replace both springs for only $178. I was going to give a "B" in "Responsiveness" and "Professionalism" but the fact that, after I told them I only wanted one spring replaced they continued to upsell by rushing my wife, I downgraded that score. Once again, I have no issues with the company's work. But be cautious of their coupon, it's only out there to get you to call them. They'll honor it but you first have to get through their upsell. And they tend not to take "no" for an answer. Services Rendered: Replace garage door springs

Angi4The company provided a free on-site estimate and gave us some options on various doors. On the day of installation, we were called so we knew when the installer would arrive. The installation took about four hours and everything turned out great. Services Rendered: Jacob installed a new 16' insulated garage door with windows along the top panel and new vinyl door-house seals.

Angi5This is the best company! The people who came out were professional and nice. When they figured out what was wrong, they gave me all of my options, not just the one that made them the most money and left me with the least money. The fix has lasted and was less expensive than the other company who just wanted to replace the whole unit. I am a single mom on a very tight budget and love to know a company that doesn't try to rip me off! Services Rendered: Fix my garage door or replace if needed.

Angi5One of a few companies that would even come out and tell me what I needed. Did not charge to inspect the units. Services Rendered: Estimate, informed me that I would need a commercial garage door company due the age of my opener, door #1 As his company did not have the parts to make my remote work right. Because door #2 was 14 feet high, it was a commercial door and his company worked on residential units.

Angi5THE INSTALLER WAS GREAT! HE WENT ABOVE & BEYOND THE NORMAL CALL OF DUTY & TOOK A LOT OF TIME ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS. ALSO, THE WORK QUALITY WAS EXCELLENT, & THE JOB WAS COMPLETED IN A PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL MANNER. Services Rendered: THEY INSTALLED AN ELECTRIC OVERHEAD DOOR OPENER & KEYPAD FOR MY GARAGE DOOR.

Angi5WHEN WE CALLED FOR AN ESTIMATE, IT WAS GIVEN TO US BY PHONE. THE COMPANY WAS ABLE TO SEND A REPAIRMAN IMMEDIATELY. HE DID A GREAT JOB ON BOTH REPAIRS AND WAS ALSO VERY COURTEOUS. Services Rendered: INSTALL NEW DOOR OPENER AND MOVE OLD ONE TO THE SINGLE GARAGE DOOR. THEY ALSO INSPECTED THE DOOR AND LUBE.
