Google1New to the area, received referral from a neighbor. We booked an appointment for a 12-2pm appointment. It was a NO SHOW, NO CALL. Called the company office at 2:15pm explaining the no show. Caleb, with no apology said he would "look into it". Called the office to cancel the appointment explaining the no call/no show. INEXUSABLE. Please read the 1 and 2 star reviews prior to hiring this, or any company. PS When calling the office back receptionist offered no apology. Highly unprofessional.

Google5Mr. Handyman of East Haven was fantastic! Thomas Chaisson replaced our front storm door and did an outstanding job. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and efficient—taking the time to explain what he was doing and why. He worked carefully, left no mess behind, and even managed to leave the floor cleaner than before he arrived! The price was very reasonable, and the entire experience was stress-free thanks to both Thomas and the wonderful office staff. Scheduling was easy, communication was clear, and they always responded within a day. I also appreciated their text system and messages about our assigned handyman (including a photo!). After so many disappointing experiences with other companies, it’s such a relief to have found a reliable, professional team. My neighbors and I already plan to use Mr. Handyman for all of our projects. Highly recommended for anyone looking for trustworthy, high-quality service.

Google5Our 125-year-old front porch and 25-year-old stoop needed major repairs and replacement. My brother had recommended this company and I'm glad he did. It took a couple of weeks to get an appointment but once he showed up, the carpenter was competent, efficient and industrious. He was also a pleasant fellow, easy to talk to about the details. As usual in such jobs, we kept finding more stuff that needed attention, so he stayed with it, always checking with me to see how far I wanted to go and what I wanted to see at completion, adding little details to improve completed job. His boss showed up to keep himself in the loop. As I write this review there is still a bit of work to finish but I have no doubt it too will be a good job, well done.
