Their communication was clear, timelines were respected, and the quality of work exceeded expectations. They handled permits, inspections, and building coordination professionally — which is no small task in NYC. The craftsmanship is excellent and the job was delivered exactly as promised. Highly recommend if you want reliability, transparency, and real expertise.

Google2I have mixed feeling about Jimmy/Egnatia Construction. He did OK job with balcony doors (Andersen) replacement overall. However in less than a year (within Egnatia warranty period) I was not able to lock the door anymore. I called Jimmy and his was not interested to honor the warranty or to help at all. He claimed that "there is no warranty from manufacturer". I called Andersen and they were able to fix my issue easy by adjusting the door position ( they do have 5 years warranty). I would not recommend to deal with this vendor since seems all they care is to make quick $$$$.

Google5Jimmy and crew remodeled two bathrooms in my prewar building. Down to the studs and even a clawfoot tub! They were clean and tidy and completed the job in three weeks.

Google5After having contracted our NYC co op bathroom to a previous inadequate contactor we were left with a mess. I was reluctant to use buildzoom but I had to take the chance as we live in CT. I was very skeptical. All contractors we had estimate the job were extremely over priced. Jimmy from Egnatia Construction gave us the only fair price. He was professional. He answered every call or text in more than adequate time. Since it is a coop there was alot of paperwork along with substantial insurance requirements. He completed and dealt with all of it. He also had all requirements needed to work in a co-op. When he came to do the work he continued until it was finished. He left the job each day with the area cleaned up that he was working in. I highly recommend Jimmy from Egnatia no question about it.

Google1Jimmy came in to give me an estimate in gut renovating bathroom and kitchen, and the rest of the 1 bedroom apartment. He never came back with an estimate or called again. Based on reviews given, I am glad he did not. I found someone who finished the project, and did an amazing job!

Google5I am not paid by these guys but I cannot say enough good things about them. I got a bunch of bids for the significant work I wanted done, then found them through their reputation and asked them to match. They underbid the cheapest by $1000. They did all work on time, on schedule, and were amazingly responsive to any questions I had during the process. Jimmy treated my house as if it were his own, and ensured it was treated well, cleaned up every day, kept a positive relationship with my Super/ Coop Management and even looked out for me when an outside electrician was dragging his feet. This was a huge remodel for me and my wallet, and they were clearly concerned and empathetic about it. The whole process, they would give me alternatives and make real recommendations on what was, and was not worth the money. I will use them again and refer them to friends.
