Adam is very easy to work with !! He helped us through the whole process ! He works with another contractor Freddie! The best!!! For all the painting that needed to be done paint does so much !!! Freddie and his crew were so professional didn’t even know they were in the house Done very quickly and perfectly! Neat and clean! outstanding!! . Adam knows What to do and is also reliable, honest and gets The job done !!!! At a very reasonable price. I totally recommend them both and believe me I’m spoiled!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend Family Home Improvement (FHI)! I needed to bring my 1960 kitchen into the 21st century—virtually no storage or counter space. Adam Shapiro created an excellent design that transformed my outdated kitchen into a highly functional space. Victor and his crew were professional, courteous, and respectful of my home. When an unforeseen issue arose, they went above and beyond to resolve it quickly and diligently. Jan Arden oversaw every step, and as promised, the job was completed ahead of schedule. FHI has also handled other projects for me—roof, steps, sidewalk, and furnace—all done perfectly. I’m completely satisfied and have full confidence in their work.

I would like to first say that my project was spontaneous. Considering the pressure I had to get all things done within a 3 week time frame Family Home Improvement got the job done and it turned out Fabulous!! My basement flooring was a complete mess prior to getting started which had many imperfections in the concrete that needed to be leveled out from the time I moved here in 2016. I also needed a new staircase because to original was unsightly. On the outside of my house I needed new gutter, soffit, facia, and trim. Family Home Improvement also had no issues with my add on requests involving electrical and light plumbing work. All work was completed to my satisfaction, and the clean up was handled nicely. One of the workers did a fantastic job daily while completing my project and I really appreciate all of his dedication which was a delight. The project Manager Adam also went above and beyond to make sure all my needs and concerns were met throughout the entire project. I knew for sure I was in great hands and not once did I feel abandoned during the experience. Adam also took care of additional concerns without hesitation and made sure that I was an ultimate happy customer. Finding great Home Improvement company is hard to come by and I give Adam the biggest thank you! I know I can be a pain, but thanks so much for everything! Thanks Family Home Improvement. *****

This is my second time working with John B. At “Family Home Improvement” and I am extremely satisfied with the results. In 2020 they replaced my windows, siding, gutters, concrete porch and front door and added front walkway. September 2025 I had them come back and replace the siding on my garage, add gutters, a separate entry door and install an automatic garage door opener. I couldn’t be any happier with the outcome. Thank you to John for his professionalism, patience and attentiveness to all of my questions and concerns.

Family Home Improvement is one of the best in the business! I have had the privilege of having them do work on our house. Such a good company to work with. They did my roof 6 yrs ago and just completed our siding with new awnings and shutters. Awesome work! What I appreciate it about the company, is the hands on approach. The job is supervised from beginning to end by the owner of the company, Jan. He takes pride in delivering great work and therefore, checks in frequently to make sure it's done the "RIGHT" way and ensures that the customer is happy. With Jan and family home, you're not just a $ sign, but they genuinely want what would benefit the client. Jan is a funny guy and is honest, something most contractors aren't about nowadays. Professional, Courteous, Efficient are just a few ways to describe this entire team. They renovated two bathrooms in our house and we couldn't be happier. This great experience started with the assessment and then a visit to the showroom. While it's always hard to choose finishes, fixtures, and styles, John provided great recommendations, which we were happy to go with, and weren't disappointed. The team worked as if they were renovating their own homes. Permit filing was efficient Demo was quick and clean. The build back was everything we were hoping for.
