and - lo and behold - he found a way to adjust the right garage door opener properly without any problem with the garage beam. On Aug. 15, 2012, we had a downpour. Well, my garage floor was very wet. I called the company, spoke to Nicky, and she scheduled the garage door man to return on Sept. 7, 2012. (He was on vacation she told me.) It rained very slightly today, Aug. 27, 2012, and the garage floor was wet again near the bottom of the door. I could not wait until Sept. 7th anymore. I called today and asked for the manager. I was connected to a gentlemen named John, who said he would come by Wed. to pressure test the seal. I am attempting to resolve this matter with Fiberama. I will file a further report after John comes on Wed. Aug 29th. To date, when I asked why there were two separate crews scheduled to work in my home (and garage) on the same day, the reply was so we would only have to inconvenience you for one day. Well no one ASKED ME what would be my preference! I would certainly have selected to have two separate days, so I could watch the work and make sure that the clean up was done properly. Secondly, it is outrageous that the garage door installer told me, first, and quot;I cannot connect these garage doors to your garage door openers. They will break the garage doors. It cannot be done.and quot; This, despite a Fiberama saleman, Nick, measured everything, and did not indicate there would be ANY problem in connecting my new garage door to my present garage door opener. Then, after he managed (somehow) to do what he said was impossible, he could not adjust the right door to open properly. Again, after a call from someone at Fiberama, he managed - again - to do that which he stated and quot; I cannot do this because the garage beam is in the way.and quot; How fortunate that I had the good sense to pay by credit card. One call and the credit card company will wipe out the entire $4,700.00 payment to them. What has been a nightmare, may turn out to be a case of poor workmanship which, hopefully, Fiberama will correct. I intend to file an updated review after Fiberama takes such action as they may deem appropriate to correct the problem with the leaking garage doors. If the leaks are resolved, then except for lousy clean ups, I would say that the new garage doors are beautiful. UPDATE: The service manager, John, came as promised and pressure tested the doors. He found an issue that could explain the water leakage. I accept that. However, I pointed out to him that the sides were NOT caulked at all, and that too could be the cause of the leakage. He returned and caulked the sides - he actually did a nice job in caulking this area. I haven't had any leakage since he caulked, but we haven't had a really heavy rain yet either. So, I won't know the actual cause of the leakage until after a good rain. Sorry this review has been so long. I hope it is helpful to anyone who may decide to consider Fiberama for the purchase of these products. Services Rendered: I ordered 2 new garage doors, a new garage window, a new door to the garage from my patio (it is a detached garage which opens on a street behind my home,) and a new kitchen (casement) window on July 3, 2012. The salesman came to measure all the openings. Doors and windows were ordered, and I was told the job would be done in about 4-5 weeks as they were busy. They called about a week before to let me know they would do the entire installation on August 13, 2012. They did NOT tell me that two crews would be working, one for the doors and a separate crew for the windows. I have a dog and I do not like to have my property fence left open - my dog will run out. It was very hard to watch two crews, one outside in the detached garage and the other in my kitchen. Fortunately, I put my pup in her crate, closed the door, and did not have to worry about her running out. The kitchen crew had the front door open, and left the fence open to get to their truck, parked in front of my home. They cut out the old kitchen window using a reciprocating saw, which resulted in a huge mess of broken metal, glass, and concrete both inside my home and outside. Basically, I was pleased with the Kitchen window. It was installed properly and looks nice. The workers appeared to know what they were doing. They attempted to clean up as best they could. However, I was busy in the garage with that project when the window installers left. Later, when I looked more closely, I found that their cleanup was unsatisfactory. If I did not have two ongoing projects with two crews at one time, I would never have let them leave the broken glass, metal shards, and broken concrete outside my kitchen window. The window installers also installed the garage window. Again, they did a good job, but a lousy clean up. I was watching the garage door installers working. When the job was done, the installer says to me, "I cannot hook up the garage door opener to your door. It is too high. It will break the door in a few days." Well, the salesman, who came to measure never said any such thing. In fact, he stated, the installers will reconnect the door(s) to the motors. Whereupon, I called the manager, Rayann, who called the installer. I saw him working on the garage door openers while I was trying to watch the kitchen window workers. The manager stated that she would call me back. When she did not call back, I called her. She stated that she did not call me back because the installer "would install the door to the garage door openers to my satisfaction." When I got back to the garage, I noticed that the left door opened perfectly and to the correct height. The right door did not open to the correct height. The garage door installer now stated to me: " The right door cannot be adjusted anymore because the (garage) beam is in the way. I cannot do it." He was ready to leave. I told him that the clean up was terrible. He had to clean up before he could leave if he wanted me to sign anything. He made a shoddy attempt to clean up and left. Whereupon, I called the office again and told them the above, that the right garage door was not adjusted properly. The office manager was gone for the day, but I spoke to a very nice young lady, Nicky, who said she would talk to her boss and get back to me. In about ten or fifteen minutes, I received a call from the installer. He asked if I was home. He said he would be over in ten minutes. He arrived in about ten or fifteen minutes
