I called Freeport garage door to replace a garage door opener that I had for over 30 years. They provided same-day service, the technician was very friendly and very knowledgeable. Overall a very good price for the work that I had done. I had a small problem which I called and they could not have been nice enough. They instructed me on how to try to fix the problem, but also set me up with an appointment if I needed it. It was no problem at all. I would definitely recommend them.

Eric came to replace my garage door motor. Freeport garage door replaced my door 20 years ago. It looks great and is working well. Eric came with a smile ready to work. His pleasant demeanor and working with a smile made my day. He left the space cleaner then he found it! I met another serviceman at the autonomy shop by chance. I told him about another issue that was an easy fix. I will be calling anytime I need work. I'd recommend the company.and their team anytime.

Not only is this company a rip off, after waiting a year to finally have my garage door delivered and installed, the door they installed was damaged! And now, Karen the owner, has done nothing about it! I guess it's time to get the lawyers involved! Terrible company - do not do business with them.

A rip off. Don't use this company. They are sneaky people. They installed something on my garage that broke 1 month after the warranty... they came and said I needed a new one and wanted to charge me 200 dollars . It was only 1 years old. I called the manufacturer who said that piece should last 10 years abs told me how to fix it which I did ... and Freeport garage wanted to charge me for a new one I don't trust them

Had a great experience with Freeport Garage Door Co. After getting a quote from another company, we decided to get a second quote. Freeport told us general price over the phone that was less, so we asked them to come and give us a quote. It was the same price, which was nice. Karen was very responsive via email. A few weeks after booking the appointment, they came and replaced our old door. The guys were nice, cleaned up well, and were done faster than we expected.

Not what was I was expecting. I have spoken to a person twice, the initial phone call, desribing what I would like which included more than what they did. They left my bulb covers open for some reason and failed to replace the bulds. I was able to speak to the techician through my camera sys and said please call if you have questions. So I am dissapointed not only did they not leave me a bill or explantion of what they did not have in stock, when I call them on Saturday asking what was done, noone in the office knew. Today I get call from a woman and when I questioned the work- got defensvie and cut me off on the phone . I wont deal with that. Thank you for the 2 remotes, I cannot use you for future service.

The company was fantastic. I called and the same day Frank came out and went over the probably options and later the office emailed me the estimate. The estimate was well below what others were quoting. I selected my door, the style and placed my order with Donna. Donna was a pleasure to deal with, answering all my questions and always promptly followed up. The day of the install was a breeze with installer John. John was a consummate professional, methodical and through. John finished and after clean up, no evidence of any mess from the install was to be fi7nd. If you need a new door or repairs, in wholeheartedly recommend this company from Frank, to John and especially Donna.

A small bracket broke on my garage door. I had manufacturer and part number, I also sent a picture of the broken part at their request via text. I was told service call is $20 and would be credited if they did service my problem. I asked how much a minimum call could be, dispatcher would not give me an answer. I asked if they had the part and would the serviceman have one with him? I was told yes. The sent a gentleman within 2 hours ( very good) 1) serviceman asked me to open garage door... If I could do that I wouldn't need him... 2) He did not have the part 3) He told me he could reattach the broken part with 2 screws for $125...... I gave him his $20 and told him to leave. Freeport garage door was not honest and tried to take me for a ride. Not honest business people.

Freeport Garage Door is HORRIBLE! Don't go here unless you want to be treated rudely and given sub quality work My garage door came off it's track, "Karen" the alleged owner, sent out a technician, Erik whose sub standard work only lasted hours after his poor attempt to repair my door. When I called that Karen on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving she lied and said her store would not be open until Tuesday... I called Monday to leave a voicemail and that Karen assistant. and older raspy sounding woman said, "Yes were open for business". I started to tell her about the issues with their sub quality work.. the door off the track, the lock their incompetent technician, Erik installed, could not be opened with extra keys I had made at a licensed locksmith. The older woman started a conversation with that Karen who later got on the phone with her nasty attitude and rude disposition. At this point I was frustrated and annoyed with her lack of respect. My 90 year old mother pick up the phone to disarmed the situation and that Karen told her she would call her back in the afternoon for a another technician to come out.. that was Monday, November 28, 2022 at 1pm.. it's now Tuesday and we'er still waiting for that call. I truly believe in supporting local business, but when customers are given sub standard work and charged top dollar than met with disrespect, and lies then they don't deserve to have well paying customers. Don't use this place, we deserve better when there is other companies who want our business and treat you with respect. Services Rendered: The garage door came off it's track

No reciept, 2 remotes, no keypad, no bulbs, left bulb covers open on all the bulb areas. Not sure if I got new rollers- if the springs are okay? Called next day noone knew what service was done, left message. Woman calls today, when I question service, she cut me off while speaking and took a defensive approach. My automatic garage door was not functioning properly. I had to hold the button down in order for the door to fully close. It made a terrible racket, and the lights didn't work. Rob came exactly when he said he would, even though we're in the middle of a Nor'Easter storm. He was friendly, professional, courteous, and fixed the door in a way that saved me money.
