Google5Jeff from the gardening department was extremely helpful in getting me the exact tools I needed to solder a pipe. He took the time to clearly explain my options and demonstrated strong knowledge not only of his department, but of the store overall, he knew exactly where every item was located. That level of service is refreshing and definitely different from the norm, where staff often aren’t sure where anything is. Jeff’s assistance was efficient, knowledgeable, and genuinely appreciated. He definitely deserves a thumbs up.

Google1This Home Depot has become one of those “do not shop where you are not appreciated” places. Back in August, a male associate ignored me to help several men first, locked up the tools, and tried to pressure me into buying a sander I did not need. He even pulled out his city inspector business card in order to try and intimidate me and bragged that he does not need his Home Depot job. I ended up buying the wrong tool instead of the one I originally needed and had to go to the Valley Stream store to return it. Today was no better. The same kind of behavior again, hovering over me as if to check for things not there, despite my request for personal space ignored! Touching the screen without asking what I needed, and then failing to give me the correct receipt, which over rides what I asked for. When I pointed it out, he (Who I think was a manager because he also seemed to be refereeing what I think was a manager because he also seem to be refereeing a employee dispute on the floor, which is also not appropriate btw) brushed me off, saying I had a physical one anyway and made no attempt to get me what I actually asked for. The staff here continue to treat customers, especially women, with disrespect. I feel like even an ax murder would have better Customer Service at this point. 🤦🏽♀️

Google4Buying insecticides and inquiring about kitchen faucets. Bought Hot Shot Flying Insect Spray and Fly Traps🦟🪰 There were plentiful choices of each items. Staff was friendly and helpful.. Prices were good. Store conditions were good.

Google4During a leisurely walk, I spotted a Home Depot and decided to pick up some door hooks to replace the broken ones at my cousin’s house. The store’s layout was familiar, similar to other Home Depots, making it easy to find what I needed. However, I spent more time waiting for a free self-service checkout than locating the hooks. Because of this, I’ll think twice before coming back here for a quick shopping trip.

Google4I went to purchase roof siding for my garage. The store was organized. I found a worker named Dee who helped me with my questions. She is professional, helpful, and attentive. I appreciate her time and effort to make my experience good. The prices are a bit expensive compared to Lowe's. The checkout was quick. The cashier needs to be personable. No smile....no greetings. Sheesh!! The Home Depot has plenty of parking. Be mindful that there will be men walking around the parking lot soliciting you for work. As I walked out the a man ran up to me and started pushing my cart to the car to unload. I just had him do it and gave him a tip. He tied up everything good! Overall, my experience was ok!

Google4Overall, the place is clean and has a lot of staff. But I’m here doing a truck rental return and no one even tried to help. I had to ask twice and I was here from 6am and no one came to me until 6:21 after seeing me standing here for how long.. and I’m standing in a area by tbe cash registers waiting for someone to come and I’m just being looked at. The day before renting the cargo van. A man was very helpful and handled all the customers that was in tool rental. While being patient and respectful. I wish I had his name. He was bald headed but he was great. If you are renting a van try not to do it days in adv because you don’t know what can happen. My reservation was cancelled from Wed on Saturday night for Sunday Morning. So I went Sunday morning because I saw there were cargo vans available and as I pulled into the parking lot there were vans. Things you should know it’s there rental for 4hours if you pass the 4 hours is considered 24 hours regardless and if your surpass the 24 hours you will be charged a week. So just pay attention to the time you want something or if you want to get it back in time.. but just a heads up for people. They tell people to keep the equipment clean but people clearly don’t clean up.. so just make sure to have something to lay on the ground if you are moving nice things.
