Yelp1Repaired with wrong size spring, door will not open or close. Refuses to replace with correct size. Contacted Attorney General's office and will take them to small claims court.

Yelp1Paid for new springs. Noise continued, was advised is normal. After 1 year, door wouldn't open unless manually assisted. Waited 2 days for repairman. He stated the springs are too small and wanted to charge $950 for larger size!!!! Then wanted to charge a house call

Yelp5I give them 5 stars for getting back quick to you, fast service BUT they bang you over the head with there price $375 to change 2 springs. If I wasn't handicapped I would have done it myself

Yelp5I used them already few times, they have very fast service and they do a great job. They could help me out in the same day without charging extra fees like other companies. The guys are very professional. I will use them because also their prices match with reality ( other company that I called almost gave me double price for the same job). I think is just the best what you can get in the market.

Yelp2Based on the good reviews I picked King David to fix my garage doors. The technician showed up on time. He recommended to replace the motor (head) for the opener. We settled in a price of $350 to include labor and parts. He quickly finished the work, but the head is not what I wanted. It does not have a secondary button near the door, only the main control. It does not have the keycode entry panel either. I am stuck with the inferior opener now. I almost think it would be better off for me to do the work myself! For that quality of work, I felt I was misled and overcharged.

Yelp5I was @ my sister in NYC.. as soon as got to her House the Garage door didn't open. We have called King David they showed up in less then 25 min.. ! He explained to my sis exactly what's wrong with the door. IT WAS A BROKEN SPRING! He'd All the hardware is his truck, He give us a good price before he started working.. and also give us a %10 discount. As soon as we say Yes for the price. He start working. It took him about 45min it's was fast and productively fix. I totally recommend this company. Thank you guys for being fast,honest and taking Care of my sister door's. :)

Yelp1Bought a Living Social deal for $49.00 for a tune up. Everything was wrong about this company! First attempt to get an appointment failed, no mutual time available. Second attempt, made the appointment and was called the morning of the appointment to tell me they couldn't keep the appt. third (and last) attempt was today, the appt was scheduled for first thing this AM, no one showed up and no one called. My husband took the morning off for no reason. Called this afternoon to complain, "the tech was supposed to call you to cancel, I don't know what happened, I'll call you right back. " Guess what? No call back, no surprise. Will be getting a refund from Living Social. This is not a reputable company. Call someone else.

Yelp1I hope people do a google search before they buy this amazon local deal. My experience was so bad that I did not use this company. I called to redeem my amazon local voucher. The man on the phone was talking to me as if he wanted to fight me. Very unprofessional. At the end of the conversation he told me he can't hear me and he will call me back and hang up the phone. I have called amazing and cancel my order. Went and called sears services and they are by far much more professional and got the job done on Sat. They sent a skilled engineer and he knew what he was doing and got the garage door working again in 1 and half hours. They also warranty their labor. Please be cautious before using this company (King David garage door)!

Yelp3Bought a living social deal for $49, it was for a tune up and replacement of 5 rollers, but watch out for the up sale on everything. I ended up spending an additional $140 for 4 pulleys($20 each) that were worn and I was told the springs are an old fashion kind, if they broke, they could injure someone, the tech recommended to replace them, i was under the impression the spring would be replaced but instead the tech put a wire through wire through it ($50 extra). Amazon and your local hardware store has the pulleys for $5 each and the garage door spring with the needed wire for $16 each if you are handy.
