Went there with a storm window from our front door that had a broken latch. Bought the door 10 years ago. Chris fixed the latch within 10 minutes. Everyone there was helpful and friendly. They did a great job 10 years ago and they stood behind their product today. Thanks. Highly recommend.

The customer service representative and the technician were excellent. I was given an appointment immediately at my convenience. The technician called to ask if it was ok to arrive a little earlier. I had used a local company for many years but they sold to Door Works who provides the same level of service as the previous company.

RELIEF!!! EXCELENT SERVICE!!! From my initial call to the company i was impressed. Pricing was upfront. Appointment was immediate and service was impeccable. Andreas, the serviceman, was very polite and experienced. He examined my garage door and informed me of the problem fixed it and serviced the door. Asked me if i had any other issues and i shyly informed him...yes. he fixed all my problems of my 20 yr old garage door and now everything is like new. Thank you.

I have a Sears brand older model garage door opener and I had been having problems with the unit. Last year, I had Sears techs out on several occasions and then this year, a new problem. I spoke with my property manager about my issues and he suggested I try NJ Door Works in Hillside, NJ and I am happy that I did. The technician was very professional and knowledgeable about garage doors. He explained what he was doing and answered all of my questions. He did not try to sell me a new unit although after 20 years, I will eventually need one. I am very happy with the service.

My father-in-law had surgery done so I wanted to help him out. He had mentioned his garage door wasn't working. I found New Jersey door works on the web without hearing about them. I told them what I needed. Here's why they get 5 stars. They could have easily told me any cost since I know nothing about garage doors or how they work. But rather, an employee (Anthony I think) told me exactly what I needed and even told me I could (if I wanted to) fix the problem myself rather than spend money buying all new supplies and having their team do the install. So I stopped by, picked up the new handle and other locking parts, paid a fair price, and did the install myself. Again, this review is for their complete honesty in saving me money. Not to mention him explaining to me how to do it. I knew I could call them at anytime to have them come do it, but it felt good helping out my father-in-law and spending time with him. Not to mention I may have earned some cool points with him. Haha. Would definitely use this company again and again.

I backed right through my garage door one day and needed a repair. These guys were awesome. I dealt with Anthony. I called a few places and most said they couldn't replace my garage door panels because that model was no longer available or that I'd have to replace the entire 2 doors. Thankfully, NJ Door Works helped me track down the panels and installed them for what I felt was a very fair price. I am very lucky and grateful for their help and service.

This review is for NJ door works that services Hoboken, not the North Plainfield office. I got absolutely ripped off by them. I've used them in the past for work and don't recall many problems but recently I called for an estimate to replace two springs on our garage door. They gave me an estimate of over $800 so I got an estimate from another company who did the work for $400. A few weeks later NJ Door works sends me a bill for over $300 for their time giving me the estimate. I called them and they flat out refused to take any money off the absurd bill. Never going to call them again.

The company was very responsive to my request for an estimate since I had a short time window before other construction work was to be done. The tech came the next day and removed the old door cleanly and quickly. The door only took about 2 weeks to be ready for install. The crew showed up early and took about 4 hours to install. The only problem was the height of the opened door since I have low garage ceilings. I could not walk through without hitting the support ribs with my head. The techs worked to raise the door tracks as high as possible, and did manage to get me and my Jeep under it with an inch to spare. The Liftmaster belt drive opener is possibly the quietest thing I have ever heard in use. Love it. Services Rendered: Replaced a double width garage door and opener

First the technician inspected my old sears garage door unit and diagnosed the problem. He then gave my wife and estimate to fix our original unit. He also gave us 3 options to replace the unit. The prices were fair (i was checking them online) and the cost of installation was also reasonable. In the end, my wife went with a new unit and the installation was extremely clean and well done. My garage was left neater than when he first arrived! Now that's a pleasant switch. Services Rendered: Replaced garage door unit.
