Google1My father bought a generator online, received an email stating the order was confirmed with a pickup # and a pickup barcode . The next morning, he called in advance of driving down from WILLIAMSBURG to confirm it was there, was told a manager was standing right next to it and it was ready. He drove down and when he got there he was told there were none left. My dad pointed to a generator to the side and told them that’s the exact generator he ordered and they told him that was reserved for another customer. Instead of giving that one to my dad (which clearly my dad’s had been sold out from under him, guess it didn’t matter that he was a customer as well) he was told no. He was refunded his money but there are no other generators available anywhere else so hopefully the electricity does not go out with this upcoming ice/snow storm. This location will NEVER have business from us again. Be careful with online orders.

Google1I’m reaching out regarding an incident involving a paint purchase from one of your Home Depot locations. The can of satin paint I purchased was not properly sealed, and after placing it in my trunk, it spilled and caused damage to the interior of my vehicle. The spill resulted in paint setting into the trunk area and also damaging personal items that were stored there. Due to the time that passed, the paint dried and is no longer easily removable. I am requesting assistance with covering the cost of professional cleaning or replacement of the affected trunk area, as this damage was caused by an improperly sealed product at the time of purchase. I have photos and the receipt available if needed.

Google3Update to original review, which is below. vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv I went in to return the microwave. Everyone was kind and assertive and productive. Home Depot just needs to hire more people it appears. Not fair to the people working at returns desk that no one has time to answer the phone. ~ ~ ~ Called at 4:30 for question about returning a black and decker microwave (that mind-blowingly didn't work the day i brought it home) and no one answered. I had a 20 minute drive, so I thought I'd just let it ring until someone answered. No one answered. Ran my errand, got back in car 45 minutes later, and tried again. 25 minutes of rings. No one answered. We are truly in the dark ages of customer service in many respects.
