Google5Great service from Overhead Door of Norfolk!!! It was easy to schedule an appointment and they were able to send a technician out the next day. We ended up having a pretty serious problem with one of our doors (35 year old doors) but Dwayne was able to find a solution, really thought outside the box and fixed our issue. Dwayne was very knowledgeable and did a great job! I’m so happy with the service!

Google5The service is superior. They answered phone calls right away without recorded voice. It took only few minutes to set up appt and lay out what needs to be done and price upfront. the serviceman (Chris) fixed my garage door as planned. The job is well done. I will use the company again in future.

Google5Dwayne took care of me, in a friendly and professional manner. He also spotted an area of rainwater intrusion behind the trim to the siding on my house. I can fix that problem easily. His sharp eye, has saved me thousands of dollars that would be needed to repair this issue in the future. The value of his advice exceeded the cost of the service charge.

Google5Company is A-1!! Chris took time to explain and answered all questions and concerns. Arrived on time, cleaned up after, and was polite and professional. Liked that he (and other staff) wear company logo tshirts (and not just “any old shirt”). Other reviews made us feel confident in our choice of company. Highly recommend Overhead Door. Note: make a note—the “on the way” automated text does NOT remind you to move your vehicle or stuff in your garage to allow technician access and stepladder space.

Google5I was very impressed with how quick the technicians arrived and fixed my garage door after the motor fell from the ceiling. My car was stuck in my garage because I couldn’t open the door the whole way. I appreciate how quick they were to respond, how kind they were and how quick they fixed another company’s bad work. On top of that, it’s over 100 degrees and they took time to answer a neighbors question about her garage door. They went above and beyond and I highly recommend them.

Angi5I had scheduled another company through AL with a deal to do an inspection that included roller replacement because I knew the door needed a lot of work, and had a busted roller. The other company assessed the various needs, and quoted me more than twice what Overhead Door of Norfolk charged for the work. The work was scheduled within 3 business days of my request, and the guys showed up right when they were scheduled, as well as calling to say they were on the way. They addressed all the issues the door had and got it back in good, quiet, safe operation in under 2 hours. The primary repairmen also looked at an issue I have with my front entry door, and gave me some sound advise on how to handle. All in all, I am very satisfied with the Overhead Door Co. of Norfolk. Services Rendered: They replaced the springs, rollers, tension cables, and some misc. hardware on my garage door.

Angi5I thought that their price was very good. they sent one guy, he did all the work in one day. Cleaned up. The door have been working fine ever since. I would use him again in the future. Services Rendered: They replaced one large overhead door and two smaller overhead doors on my other garage.

Angi1the technicians they sent were the rudest people I have had the misfortune to deal with in a business transaction of any kind they would not pick anything up or move it . that was our job. I understand this and would be more than willing to do it. then they told me that we had a dumpster and storage unit in our driveway and he did not know whether he would be able to do the work because of the walk from the street. I am 61 years old and have been president of my own company for the past 15 and know that customer service is important to keep your company going. obviously it is not important to overhead doors of Norfolk. Angi5They did a great job. I got some other estimates and I thought their price was reasonable. They came in and the guy did the work and did a good job. He cleaned up and that's all I asked for. Angi1It was going to be about 6 weeks for it to come in. 6 weeks went by and we didn't receive yet. The sales manager called and when the door came in the first time it had windows. They offered to throw in the door with windows for no extra cost. I didn't want this so they reordered the one I wanted. They were supposed to come today and never showed. I called and they said that we weren't on the schedule at all and no one was available. They thought that I would call to accept the installation date when we were under the impression that they would be here unless we called to cancel the appointment. We have since canceled everything. Services Rendered: We ordered a door for them to install.

Angi5The door itself was O.K. but the unit (abt 10 yrs old) needed new motor, etc. I guess I thought the price was a bit high and I do not think the replacement is as good as the original. We have two doors and the other one is still working o.k., but it is quieter the an the new one. As there are different models to choose from, perhaps if I upgraded more I might have gotten a quieter unit. All in all, we were pleased with the service. Services Rendered: All work was done professionally by a competent serviceman.

The company promptly returned to replace the controller. Services Rendered: The company replaced the chain operator, mullion plate and stunt along with the remote controller. Please note the correct name is Overhead Door Company of Norfolk.

Angi5I feel that Overhead Door did a wonderful job with the doors. They look great and they work great. I have no complaints about anything. The men were nice and extremely well prepared. I would hire them again if needed and I would recommend them. They did install the doors very quickly and did not even leave a single thing behind for clean up. It was a nice and smooth experience. Pricing was cheap and worth it. However, my wife paid for it so I could not tell you what it is. Services Rendered: Overhead Door installed garage doors on my three car garage.
