Google5Don came and assessed the problem with our garage doors and ended up saving us from thinking we needed to replace 2 openers. As it was just one needed replaced and the other simply needed an adjustment to get working right away. Don is professional, straight forward and a great guy to work with. We will definitely use him again, if and when we need work done!

Google5Last week, the motor died on my 30+ year old automatic garage door opener in Lords Valley, PA. Within days, Don Nusio of Always Reliable Garage Doors was at my house, diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate for a new motor, stem rollers and pulleys. After the price was agreed upon, he was back two days later and installed the new motor, pulleys and rollers. He did a beautiful job and I cannot recommend Don and his company more highly. Additionally, he was always easily accessible to answer questions.

Yelp5The top panel on one side of our double garage door came off the track. Called Don at Always Reliable Garage Doors (for first time) and I got an immediate text response asking for details (because he was on a job) which he forwarded on to his wife (I think) who then called me back immediately to get the details and arrange for a visit the following morning. Don came and took care of the issue and swapped out a few aging components as well and now we are all set. Thanks for the quick response.

Yelp5This is the 2nd install Don has done for me over the years. These doors on my new home are super quiet, insulated, wireless garage doors. Don does a great job every time. He also repaired two old garage doors for me until I was ready for new doors. He is great to work with. I wouldn't use anyone else!

Yelp5I called about a garage door opener that went crazy. Don showed up and evaluated the opener. It needed to be replaced. Orginally he said he would have to charge a service fee, but upon seeing the problem, he waived that fee. Scheduled an appointment for removal and installation. Debbie from the office called and said "Don can pick up a new opener for you as he is in the store now" Wow, never had an installer offer that service. I had already ordered one and was waiting for shipment. Unfortunately the new opener got shipped to NJ and delayed the delivery of the new one. I had to reschedule. Don called on the day he was coming to explain he would be about 40 minutes late. He arrived exactly 40 minutes later. Of course it was the hottest day and the garage had to be over 90 degrees. He quickly and efficiently installed and set up the opener. Don is friendly and knowledgeable. He finished his work and charged exactly what he quoted me. I would recommend his company for any garage door service.

Yelp1This man's response shows what a low life this guy really is. The spring he came and re-replaced is the exact same one done in May. This was the tale he was trying to spin when we spoke, talking in circles. Also how ridiculous can one be coming up with such a blatant bold faced lie. The topic of him replacing my doors for free never ever was a conversation. I told him I didn't need new doors at this time at all!!! That was his whole goal trying to sell doors, which by the way is what he offers. I wouldn't ever bring myself down to that low level of a person to suggest he replace my doors for free. That never came up!!!! This is a person who is your best friend when all is well, the minute something goes wrong the horns come out and you have who he really is before you. I'm done with this guy and will not be going back and forth with such a low life. STAY AWAY!!!!! THIS MAN HAS NO INTEGRITY AT ALL!!!!! If your looking for a company with more than a 30 day replacement parts warranty this is NOT the company. I didn't learn I only had 30 days until a problem occurred. That's when the guy who I thought was a man of integrity showed who he really was. Everyone is happy and loves sunshine, but when the rain comes, can you stand the rain. This guy wants no parts of a rainy day. May 15th, 2019 my springs and cables were replaced by the owner. Sept 3rd, 2019, not even a full 4 mos it all went haywire. I had been trying to reach him all day to no avail. My wife comes in from work, and reaches him. He comes over and is met by my frantic wife, and tries to convince her to replace the entire door for well over $1000.00. She calls me and I tell her the doors are 14 years old, but need not be replaced at this time. Don't let this man convince you of otherwise. When i got home I then learned the owner charged my wife $260 to replace the springs that failed in less than 4 months, $285 I was originally charged. I was livid that he would do something like that after 4 months. I called him the next morning and asked why did he charge us again to replace what he did just 4 months prior. He immediately started double talking, went into high pressure salesmen mode and tried to convince me to replace the door, which was his ultimate goal. We went back and forth, as he's using different trade jargon to confuse me. The call ended in I only had a 30 day warranty, and if I had a problem with that or him, don't use him anymore. This conversation actually happened last Weds Sept 4, 2019, a day after he came and took full advantage of my unsuspecting wife. Had I been home and present that would've never happened. I gave him a full week to think about that conversation, and the absurdity of saying the springs we're only warrantied for 30 days, and he went on to say, the one's he replaced Sept 3rd, 2019 could last 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months, or 3 years. whatever the case he made it emphatically clear I only have a 30 day warranty. Which by the way is written clearly on the agreement, but your not paying attention to that fact, because your trusting the product will hold up, and certainly well over 30 days, in my case not even 4 mos. Again I gave him a full week to try to make this right before writing this poor review, I have not heard from him since our last conversation on the matter last Weds Sept 4th, 2019. I guess he thinks I'm just going to put my tail between my legs and whimper away quietly. This man has no integrity whatsoever. He's going to try to defend this with the doors need replacing, which is total lie. They just need springs that are reliable, and if they fail, one should not be charged for them not lasting 4 months. This guy will make nice, tap dance, smile, and grin when all goes well, soon as a problem presents itself, you'll get to meet who he really is. Stay away if more than a 30 day warranty is what your looking for. I trusted I was dealing with a reliable company, as the name suggests. Turns out this company is just the opposite....."Extremely Unreliable". DO NOT CALL/AND OR TEXT MY WIFE WITH THIS NONSENSE SIR, as you did last week after we spoke. If you do I will be filing harassment charges.

Yelp5I contacted Always Reliable Garage Doors a couple of days ago in order to have him take a look at my elderly neighbor's garage door that she was unable to open from the outside with her remote control. Not only did Don gave us an appointment for the very next day. But he was exceptionally knowledgeable, accommodating and honest in his assessment of the problems at hand. "Reliable" is a suiting and fitting name for his garage door business.

Angi5Don arrived at my home promptly at our appointed time, and assessed the work at hand. He gave me a detailed description of the job at hand, the materials he needed to order, and a price for the completed job. When he returned on our next appointment, he quickly and professionally disassembled my garage door to the point enabling him to replaced the broken springs. After reasssembling the spring mechanism, Don torqued the springs to the proper level and tested them to ensure that they worked properly. He then lubricated the springs, wheels and track of the garage door opener. Since I have an older (ancient) opener, he advised me on what to do when it finally gave out. I found Don to be friendly, punctual, professional and competitively priced. I would be happy to recommend his services and will certainly use him again when necessary. Angi5I've called Don three times and all three times he has responded quickly and come out soon after. He does more than the needed repair; he checks everything. He oils the door and makes sure everything is in order. I could not be more pleased and wish all workers were like him Services Rendered: Garage door wasn't opening. Don changed the broken spring and then checked with me about changing the other. He checked the entire system and put a new seal on the bottom of the door.
