Google5I`ve been using multiple services for the past decade and believe me when I say, it was my absolute pleasure dealing with E&D Garage Doors. Miki showed up as promised, repaired and inspected my garage door and the whole unit. I will be calling E&D again if needed. Owner beware - don`t be looking much further.

Google5E&D were the only company I found who were willing to work with to find the reports and repair my garage door unit rather than replace, which immediately gave me the sense they were fair and knowledgeable. On the day of service, they arrived during the agreed upon time frame and after patiently and professionally answered my questions, they promptly started and completed work. I received a fair price for the repairs and avoided replacing my unit. I will definitely use E&D in the future and would recommend them as well.

Google5I emailed and voice messaged E&D on Tuesday May 8. They answered right away. We agreed with Mike for him to come and access my garage door situation the next day at 9 AM. Mike arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Mike accessed the door and told me from the very beginning and in detail what was wrong with the door. Then he told me how long it would take for him to fix it and how much it would cost (with alternatives). He did an excellent and finished 30 minutes early. We are so glad we got our door working again, thanks to E&D and Mike.

Google5Highly recommend!!! I called around for someone to fix our garage door, and E & D Garage Doors definitely had the best budget-friendly quote. Also, he was available on Saturdays and same-day services, which was a large additional benefit! He called upon 30 minutes away from my house and arrived on time. He did an excellent job and charged me for the agreed upon price. He was super approachable, professional, and took the time to explain to me the diagnostics and completion. Great company!!

Yelp5We bought a house with an old, decaying wooden door, with an opener from the 70s that couldn't lift it without help and desperately wanted to replace it. It was definitely not a standard job--our garage was an in-between size, with very low clearance. We got 3 quotes and chose to go with Mike and E&D, and were very pleased with the results. Mike definitely has a casual vibe, but we were thrilled with the professionalism and quality of his work. His assesments were spot on, he was honest about potential delays with COVID and he even arranged to help patch up a spot of rotting wood along the frame. He didn't try to up sell with any features we didn't need and was transparent in his recommendations. His team to do the work, the father and son duo of Ricardo & Ricardo were also great--fast, efficient, clearly knowledgeable and strong attention to detail. We're thrilled with our door and would recommend E&D Garage Doors without hesitation.

Yelp5We had a very positive experience from start to finish! Michael returned my call for information very quickly, and came to look at our garage door, which would only open a few inches. He explained our options thoroughly and we had him proceed to replace our garage door opener. I was impressed that when he was running a bit late he called to tell us, which most contractors never bother to do. The work was completed promptly and without any problems. We definitely recommend E&D for any garage door issues!

Yelp5My 86 year old mother's garage door had many issues and would no longer open or close properly. She was worried about being taken advantage of since she had no idea what it was going to take to repair. Mike came out on a Saturday and got her garage door in tip-top condition at a great price. Mike was very honest and great to work with. My mom was extremely satisfied with Mike's professionalism, his explanation of the work completed, and with the results. Would absolutely recommend Mike to anyone in need of a garage door repair!

Yelp5I live in Wyckoff and needed someone local in this area to fix my garage door. I stumbled on E&D and saw it was in Fair Lawn. Perfect! Then I saw the great reviews. Even more perfect! Mike responded to my phone call quickly and was at my house within 1/2 hour. He diagnosed the problem, gave me a very fair estimate, and in just a little more than an hour I had a working garage again. In fact, it now works better than it ever did. The best part was that he was honest on telling me he was able to do the work below his estimated cost, and charged me accordingly. Very cool. If you live in this part of Bergen County, you know how hard it is to find good and honest local repairmen who do quality work without feeling the need to overcharge you. I definitely recommend E&D Garage Service and Mike to anyone who asks.

Yelp5After getting quotes from other larger garage door companies, I contacted E and D Garage doors. Mike came over very quickly and assessed the situation. He proposed a commonsense approach to my repair and replace needs. The following day Mike installed two quiet high-efficiency garage door motors with all the cables and springs included. He and his assistant were courteous and efficient. In addition, Mike followed up after the installation to make sure I knew how to program the motors and to replace bumpers on the bottoms of the doors for no extra cost. Mike's quote was the price we paid. Also his price was far below the excessive quote I had gotten from his competitor. I would recommend E and the garage doors and Mike to anyone looking for excellent service, good products at a good price.

Yelp5Mike is such an expert of garage door repair. When our garage door got broken, he asked for the picture of it over the phone, pinpointed the problem and arranged parts immediately. His crew showed up on time and repaired the door right away. He explained to us what the cause was in detail and his price was really reasonable. They provide same day service with fair price. Yelp5I bought a home late last year, which was built in 2007. Late on a Wednesday night, the spring and drive failed. I contacted E&D Garage Doors at 7 pm, hoping to perhaps have someone come by Friday to look at it. Thomas was at my house by 7:30pm that day. He was very familiar with the overhead door system, which is almost impossible to find parts for (I researched this before I called them). He went over my replacement options before he started working. Once I gave him the go ahead, he got right to it and worked past 10pm until the new spring system was totally up and running. He even hauled away the broken springs, went over all the new features with me, and worked around our cluttered garage with no complaints. Such a great guy and such a great service.
