Yelp5Chris is the best garage door man I've ever used. Having been a builder in the past I've used a LOT of different companies. Wished I'd found Chris Baker at CAC years ago. Do yourself a favor and call Chris before dealing with some of the others listed here. No sure why the review is saying I'm from California. We are in Dawsonville and Thank the Lord not to be living in California.

Yelp5Chris is awesome! Saved us a lot of money. One of our 3 garage door openers went on the fritz yesterday. I called 3 companies, including the one that installed the opener almost 2 yrs ago. Of course, our labor warranty had recently expired! I will say, the other 2 companies were nice and helpful. However, Chris was exceptional. He returned my call promptly. His service fee was considerably less than the others. We have 2 Genies, and a Marantec, the newest, and the one that needed attention. He was knowledgeable regarding both products. He told us some things to try to resolve the issue without having to call him out. He even offered to talk my husband thru some things to avoid a service call. If we were to need him to come out, he was willing to come over ASAP. Thanks to his suggestions, my husband was able to resolve the problem without a service call, and we really appreciate that! So, he will now be our "go to" guy in the future. I will happily recommend him to my neighbors as well! Thanks again, Chris!!

Yelp5I highly recommend Chris Baker of CAC Garage Doors. Chris did an install of two wooden garage doors for us. He is prompt, profesional, and was very accomodating of multiple reschedules of our project on very short notice. His prices are fair and reasonable, and he knows what he is doing. A five star experience all the way!

Yelp5This is the best experience I ever had with a contractor performing work at my house. One of the springs in my double garage door broke, I called several companies and most of them wanted to convert Torque master system that I currently have into a tension spring, which is more expensive. I decided to hire Chris Baker, business owner of CAC Garage Doors (706) 974-4744. Chris Baker was very honest and didn't try to upsell me to a different system. His quote was very reasonable compared to other quotes I received from other companies. Chris did the repair himself, he was very professional and did a great job. He was on time the day of the appointment; he called me about 5 minutes before the appointment time to let me know that he was on his way. Chris was very helpful and answered all my questions. He even checked my other garage door and did some adjustments to the spring; he also lubricated all the rollers and hinges of all my garage doors without even asking him to do so. I am extremely happy with Chris Baker's work. I will definitely hire him again and refer his company CAC Garage Doors to friends and family.

Yelp5I called CAC to come look at the garage door and opener on the house I had just bought because it wasn't working. The previous owner always left the door open and it wasn't in good shape. I was expecting the door and/or the opener needing to be replaced for hundreds of dollars or more. Instead he told me it just needed the torsion spring lubed and a couple of small parts on the door that were broken needed to be replaced. He had it fixed quickly and for only $89. So refreshing to find an honest repair company. He will definitely be getting my business when it's time to replace the door.
