Google5Yesterday I had my garage motor replaced. Robert did the install and was absolutely professional -and explained all of the nuances of this new piece of equipment. I couldn’t recommend this company more.

Google1Did a hack job on my new brand new construction home and garage door. Been out multiple times and incapable of doing a good job. The latest rendition of “service” resulted in leaving about 20 holes in my door that should have fasteners. They are incapable of doing a complete job. Doorsmith will hack every up, and I wouldn’t trust Doorsmith to change my lightbulbs. Already experienced a lot of visits, frustration, and inconvenience. Beware.

Google5Ryan came out today on a service call for our barn door,, in our new home. Not only was he knowledgeable, which was a wonderful thing, but he was efficient. He was courteous and he cleaned up after he was done and he just did an all-around great job. That’s the kind of customer service I expect on our new home, and those are the kind of people I will use in the future. Thanks, Ryan!

Google5I have had such a great experience working with John at Doorsmith! He was highly rec to me by a well respected builder and that rec was well deserved! He was great at helping me choose the right garage doors, came to help program them for me and he even came by last week to help me reprogram them for code! He is awesome and I am grateful!!!!

Google5Austin as a sales man was outstanding, he took all required measurements and made sure to suggest the right door to fit my property and satisfy my needs. The installer Robert was superb in making sure the garage door was installed properly and made sure to double check all of his work and make sure everything was functional. Doorsmith met all my garage door needs for my property and I will be recommending them to my family and friends for their services.

Google5Doorsmith installed 6 Barn Doors across 4 openings in my home. The workmanship of the doors they manufactured was excellent and their installation was efficient and yet, thorough in how they installed the doors and aligned centers when installing the double Barn doors. Their service/installation crew was polite, respectful and Covid aware. Thank you Doorsmith Team for making enhancing the look and feel of my home.

Yelp5We bought our doors from Doorsmith years ago and had been pleased with them. But, when we had a problem. We went on-line and and just got the "discount offer" to have them repaired. Almost a huge mistake! After getting a $3000 estimate we called Doorsmith back who repaired the door for a few hundred dollars. Not only do I recommend Doorsmith for your garage doors but highly recommend them to do your repairs and maintenance. Don't be fooled by the discounts and coupons offered on the internet. They don't save you money. Doorsmith is fair in price and trustworthy.

Yelp1It has been almost a full year since Doorsmith installed 3 cedar wood garage doors for me. I order stain grade, clear cedar doors. Immediately upon installation I noticed significant imperfections in the wood in 2 out of the 3 doors. One in particular had large knots, one of the doors had deep sanded areas, making it impossible to stain, and a large area that ran the length of the door where someone had filled cracks and sanded. I immediately called Al and asked that the areas be replaced with Clear cedar wood, not irregular wood. The amount I paid reflected a Clear cedar price. It took months before he even came out to look at the doors! There was also an issue with installing the sensors on one garage door that Al said he would take care of and despite multiple phone calls and emails, nothing has been done. I will likely have to pay someone else to install them. Forget follow-up and service with this company, once they get their money, they could care less if you are satisfied with the quality or function of the product. Worst customer service ever! My advice, go anywhere but here and only pay when you are 100% satisfied!

Yelp1I needed two panels replaced on one of my garage doors (almond color). A technician replaced them with WHITE instead. He thought we had plans to paint them almond. The panels are metal, you do not paint these types of garage doors as they come in 5 different colors. I was told, the color was overlooked by the sales person and mgmt when ordered. It was later said I was at fault for not verbally stating the color. I sent a photo to the sales person of the garage doors inside and out along with the serial tag showing "almond". I was contacted to pay my balance after the install, but advised the color issue and I'd like to wait and pay once properly installed (as any person would suggest). It took a full week to have them reordered and reinstalled. I had to constantly call for an update as my HOA was sending letters about the doors not being acceptable in our community. The technician came out and installed the doors once again. I advise in advance that I had an appointment and needed to leave at 4pm. The tech showed up at 3:45pm. I even had to call to get an arrival time update at 3:30pm. After he finished the install, I went out to look over the newly installed panels. There were 4 bolts just barely started and not screwed in all the way. The technician had already packed everything up and was about to the leave my driveway. I walked up and waved at him by his truck window and stated "Are these 4 bolts supposed to be loose?". He replied, "Oh I skipped over a step". I called Doorsmith's accounts payable explaining the situation and that I'd like someone to call me considering my scenario. I never received a call. I called in today (2/7/18) as a reminder because I didn't want my account sitting in the "delinquent pile". Finally, after speaking with the sales person and being told I never told him the color needed, my info was given to mgmt. I received a call from the owner himself. I have never been spoken to in such a way by a business owner. He proceeded to tell me that I wasn't getting anything for free. I explained, I just wanted someone to consider all issues. "I don't need anything for free!" I was giving them the opportunity to empathy and offer an apology. Instead, I was yelled at by the owner and not given a moment to speak for myself. The conversation obviously went nowhere. I hung up, called their accounts payable to make the final payment, then called the owner back. I received his voicemail and explained I had just made my final payment and that I did not need anything free from him nor have I ever been spoken like that from a "business owner". Yelp1Careful! Our doors have not worked properly on and off for the past 8 months. They have to be constantly reset. After waiting a week for a service call, today is it is cancelled with no confirmed reschedule date. Service is disappointing.

Yelp5The good: Eric's salesmanship was not high pressure, he was easy to work with and, literally, stayed patiently after me quarterly for 18 months. (Now is not the time to borrowing money for anything, let alone garage doors, but I digress) More good: The quality of the doors was impeccable. Even more good: They're local to the metro-Atlanta area. No Chinese-made nonsense. Local jobs, local product. The most good: The value! I can't speak enough about the value. Angi5My experience was great! I experienced very personalized service. Eric, the salesman took the time to clearly explain all of the various options and worked with my on the price to try to stay within my budget. Installation was smooth, efficient and on time. Also, they were out-of-stick on the garage door motor I requested, so they upgraded me for free! I would recommend Doorsmith to anyone looking to install a garage door.
