Google3I called to see if I could have them replace springs on my garage door. They took a week to come out and the tech showed up, got out of his vehicle, walked up, and read the label on the garage door. Then left and said he would give an estimate. I ended up going with overhead door in goodland. They then sent me a bill for an hour of work, gas(which I understand), and “nuts, bolts, and lube” that they never even used! Jenna later called to rectify the billing issues. She was very nice and explained some of the bill I should not have been charged.

Google5We have had Hi-Plains Door Systems, Inc to our farm to replace a door and also to repair a door and were completely satisfied with the prompt response from their office and technicians. They came when they said they would and repaired everything back like new! They have serviced two garage doors at our home and again, we were very pleased with the work the technicians did. They came when they said they would and didn't leave until the job was done! Considering we live 35 miles from their shop, we were more than pleased. If we have problems in the future, they will be our first call for help!

Google1My elderly mom lives 30+ miles away, and called for service on her garage door. AFTER the person arrived, mom was informed that she would be charged $3.00 per mile plus a $100 service call fee, and that she needed a new garage door opener, which would cost $700. She said she couldn't afford that much for a new door, and was handed a bill for $207.00 for the service call-- with no actual service done. She then asked if that amount would be deducted if she agreed to have them install the opener, and was told "No." Mom ended up buying a new garage door opener for $200, and had it installed by someone else, including new wiring, for $100. I feel this company was dishonest by not disclosing their ridiculous service fee/mileage charge at the outset, and tried to take advantage of someone they felt couldn't do the work on their own. Glad she proved them wrong, and shame on them.

Google1I asked them not to make a special trip. Now I have a $300 bill for a simple fix. I will not be using them again. Also disappointing service with our farm doors.
