Don't use this company! You will be ripped off! When I bought my house I had a couple companies come and quote the job to replace my garage door hardware and install a new garage door opener. They are solid wood and I wanted to keep them rather than replace them because they add to the cottage look of my house. I went with Besser Bros despite the fact that they quoted me higher on both replacing my garage door opener and replacing the hardware becasue they had my house in their system so I figured they knew my doors best. I was looking for best quality and service rather than cheapest price. I was very disappointed. I scheuled them to come fix my doors and I had my husband at the house for the service. He said the salesman/ serviceman did not fix the doors but instead said our doors should be replaced to the tune of about $3k vs fixed for about $550 because they are old. Did I mention solid wood? I love them! They are perfectly funtional and have lots of character. They may not like them but I do! I should have known then... I called and rescheduled for them to come FIX them and it took a couple calls beacuse they had to check several times with the manager. I finally got them scheduled to come fix the door and install the new opener. When the serviveman was DONE, he said to me that the ALREADY HIGHR price I was quoted did not incude the springs which HE HAD ALREADY REPLACED! it would be an additional $108. I told the repaiman to call the company to verify, He yold me he worked long enough for Besser Bro's to know what he was talking about. I have since seen these springs at the hardware store and yes I was ripped off in more ways than one. Yes I should have called the compay myself at that very moment to complain. Yes I should have written this review sooner. But if any of you have ever moved cross country, bought a house, moved in with 2 dogs and 2 kids, and deal with all the typical maintance and remodel you understand that you just hope to come accross good, honest companies. This is not one of them. Use someone else. I shoul have used Sears. Services Rendered: They replaced hardware and springs for my wood door and istalled a garage door opener.

A lot of people came out with quotes. There were 2 that I adored and I used him mostly because of the garage door opener that he recommended versus the other one. This guy looked exactly like my brother. No matter what his name was, I called him David. I felt bad but I kept calling him David.There was only a $49 difference between the 2 and they were considerably cheaper than some of the other quotes. They were quite reasonable. Services Rendered: He replaced an entirely new garage door with a new opener and all the mechanics.

We've used them a few different times and have always received prompt, professional service. It can be an unsettling feeling when you cannot open your garage door. They came out the next day and within an hour we were good to go. Services Rendered: They realigned our roll up door.

I'm disappointed with the price of $325 for 2 springs replaced. Invoice didn't have a breakdown of parts and labor costs. Just a flat fee. However the technician arrived on time and did an adequate job. Services Rendered: Replaced 2 broken springs and lubricated rollers, bearing blks, springs. Safety Inspection with recommendations.
