Worst customer service experience ever! After being told it was a "coincidence" our spring broke 3 weeks after service from Armstrong, I spoke to the owner who was extremely rude and insulting. I would not recommend this company as they don't stand behind the work they do.

The service that John provided for our broken springs on our garage door was excellent. Additionally, he also said we needed new rollers, the rubber seal under the garage door and a few minor things. Total was $800.00+! Our home was built in 2006 and this was the first repair we needed. Totally understandable! HOWEVER, afterwards, we kept hearing a loud thump coming from the door when we closed it and we had intermittent problems with opening our garage door. Prior to John's original repair we never had problems with the door opener. My husband spoke to Mr. Billie Armstrong and was told there would be no charge for the adjustments needed. However, after John serviced our door from his initial repair, we were billed $155.00 additional because it was considered a service call! John snipped a few wires on the beams, which we found out that wasn't the problem at all! The one beam was shaking out of alignment from the repair. So bottom line, we've paid about 1K to fix our garage door. And I'll add that we do not neglect anything in our home!

One of the springs on my garage door broke on a Friday afternoon, that's never a good time for large household things to break. I found some reviews for Armstrong and decided to call them, I called at 4:50 on Friday evening, not expecting much, but I got a very friendly person, took my info and made an appointment for the next day. They showed up on time, if not a little early, looked it over, talked me through it and gave me a reasonable quote. I agreed, and probably 30 minutes later, the work was done. Job well done, professional, quick, informative. I don't call garage door services often, but I have definitely had a couple of questionable ones. I will definitely call Armstrong again when I need it.

I called them when my garage would not open and they came out the following day. The gentleman immediately said I needed a new garage door opener - not even 1 minute after arriving, literally. This made me suspicious but I needed this fixed right away so I took him at his word. The new garage door was $599. It is over double the price over HD and another company that quickly I contacted while waiting for the gentleman to get off of the phone with a call to "his office." I absolutely feel ripped off. Since the gentleman said I would still owe the full trip for his one minute diagnosis, plus since other companies could not come out for several days and this was a pressing matter, I decided to replace it even though I felt taken advantage of. I have used Armstrong Garage Doors several times previously and never had a problem b but I have also not interacted with this gentleman before. I could go on about the snide remark that the gentleman said when he was wrapping up but you have read enough. Just know that I will never ever ever use them again after this experience and I definitely want to inform others of this poor experience.

I called Armstrong after one of my torsion springs decided to give up the ghost at the incredibly inconvenient time of immediately following a devastating hurricane. There are other people with HUGE problems and I've got a silly broken spring. The man I spoke with kindly explained they were very busy assisting those with hurricane damage, but would gladly fit us in ASAP whenever they could. They got me in just 2 days later and (considering the mess the storm left) I'd call that above and beyond. Jeff B. came out and fixed us right up. We've got a functional garage again! He pointed out that our track wheels were wearing out and unduly causing extra noise. No pressure or hard sell, but we had him there and asked him to go ahead and replace them. We are very pleased

I have been a repeat customer for 20+ years and Jeff has been to my house multiple times to fix springs, rollers, and a 25 year old garage door opener. We use the garage multiple times a day as it is the main access in to the home. Armstrong has always kept it working and usually they want to show up to fix the issue before I can get home. Quick, reliable, responsive and I never had a problem the price

Armstrong came to replace my springs only 1 was broken. Charged my wife $540 ! OUTRAGOUS ! No phone quote and now we know why. We would have told them not to bother. The springs retail for $140 and the repair tech was here a total of 1hour 20 minutes include about 10 minutes writing up the ripoff bill. NEVER AGAIN. This was maybe a $300 job !

The technician showed up on time and did a great job of repairing my garage door. I am only giving them two stars because they advertise a BOGO spring offer but bill you for both springs anyway. When I called to inquire about the charge for both springs, the customer service representative told me this is how we have to bill for the springs. The software program will not let us bill the springs any other way. She went on to say the program will not allow us to place a zero dollar amount for the springs. When I asked why, couldn't you credit the one spring on the invoice. Again She told me that this is how we have to bill for the springs. This type of practice is ridiculous and false advertising.

This company simply trespassing my property, and started to remove my gate without I order for it. Lruckily I arrived at my house in time and told the employees that they were doing the work in the wrong place, they went back to installing the gate that had already been removed, but the gate was damaged/scratched, requiring a new painting. The same was done and the company has not reimbursed the amount so far, the worst was after contacting the owner of the company, who was extremely stupid and ignorant.

Reached out to this company through Google. They appeared to have good reviews, So I reached out to them. They are sales representative named Rocky seem to know his basic knowledge, when asked about more difficult questions as in styles of doors he seemed to always have to call the office. He made verbal promises to me that I could not find in writing which was the biggest one about the Warranty being lifetime. I finally got frustrated with him and try to reach out to the person in the office and got nowhere. I asked to speak with the owner which I was able to do. Billy promised me that he was profusely embarrassed and that he would handle things from here on out we had a good conversation. When I reached back out three weeks later to sign a contract and do business with him, they couldn't find any literature on the contract that they had written with me. When I gave them all the information they needed they called me back and said they were not interested again I asked to speak with the owner he told his secretary to let me know he was not interested. I know there are two sides to every story But I would suggest strongly doing background on this company before using.
