Google5Our 23 year old Genie garage door opener finally died. After consultation with technician, he was able to install new unit on the spot. Old unit = no parts available. I appreciated his being thorough and getting the job done in a timely manner. No problems with the new unit.

Google1The worst company ever they cut down the motor to my garage door, which they installed, saying that it had to be taken down. It was in the back of Workmen‘s truck when I arrived at my house and they said it had to be taken down it didn’t the inspector that came and looked at the permit said it didn’t and two other Garage Door companies said it didn’t have to be taken down. I feel like the guy was stealing it and it was perfectly fine and there was a big problem. All they wanted to do is sell me the door and that was it. It was horrible. They were absolutely horrible. They owe me a new motor. They refuse to put a new motor in after I threatened to sue them then they decided to come and put that back with a guy had ripped it out of the ceiling and one of the brackets was out unbelievable

Google1This company sent a guy who cannot speak English. When he came I opened the garage door He also asked to close and then open it again. He just stood by the door and pointed at the steel bar Accross the top of the garage door that’s by the wall. He said that is the problem. Since he cannot tell me the name of that part i asked him if it is torque master he is pointing at and he said yes. I asked him how much it will cost and he said $600 I told him that I am sorry I will check with my husband and paid him the service charge of $149 I called another company just after tha guy left and I asked if they charge service fee and they don’t so I had them send a service man. This time the guy opened and closed the garage door and listened very carefully. He never had the opinion it was the torque master. He proposes tightening some parts and if not that he will inspect again the parts of the garage but never had the impression it was the torque master. Eventually he repaired what he diagnosed as the problem and things were corrected First I did not pay a service fee he diagnosed the problem which was much simpler that what the guy from D and D said. The guy spoke very good English explained everything to me in simple terms and I paid him much less than what I paid this guy from DnD The lesson I got is first check a company that has no service charge and then make sure they send you an English speaking service man unless you are Spanish speaking I wasted $149 and it was a sad situation but gave me the lesion I need to tell other people through this review

Google5My garage is my workshop. D&D Garage Doors raised the garage tracks up close to the ceiling and put in a side-mount garage door opener from Genie. No more knocking plywood or long boards into the opener or tracks! True freedom for woodworking! Reasonable price, great job, and bonus, the side-mount has no chain, so it's very quiet. Highly recommend!

Google5Made an appointment. Confirmed appointment twice. The technician called 30 minutes before arrival. Trouble shot problem and within 2 minutes knew what it was. Replaced the part and the door works better than it ever did. I thought I was going to need everything new. Was just a part like I said. Very happy with service all around. Built my house 12 years ago. They installed the door and opener. I have had service 3 times now. I will call again if needed. GREAT JOB!!!

Google5D&D Garage Door company, really helped me to understand operation of my garage door, as well they walked me through process to get new belt under warranty from Genie Garage Door Opener company. D&D came out and adjusted tension in horizontal bar for spring to allow easy up / down manually of my door. $129 member service fee, then D&D came back $70 to install new belt later. Thank you D&D ...now I know, get annual service.
