BBB1I think it's all a scam to defraud people. They deny the coverage from your home warranty company, scare you into purchasing from them, attempt to upsell to make you pay THEM on the spot out of pocket. It's a complete rip off. They should be ashamed of themselves, as individuals and as a company that clearly lacks values and morals.MY personal believeis that:-1 Garage Door Repair and Installation -Diamond Garage Door and Openers LLC -and possibly ******* Garage Doors and Openersare all in cahoots or at least running the same scam. Read all reviews, across all platforms and look at the ********* stamps. Don't be afraid to speak up and advocate for yourself. Also question your home warranty company and hold THEM accountable for sending shady companies to your house.I got my garage door fixed, my warranty company refunded my money, and all is good.

BBB1We were referred to Diamond Garage Doors by our home warranty company roughly two months ago, and the job still has not been complete. A breakdown of the challenges below.1. Technician came to our house and tried to upsell us $7,000 on a fix that should cost less than $1K. When we discussed that we did not have interest in the upsell, the technician stopped responding. We contacted the company roughly 6 times in the first week and were finally told that they had fired the technician and would send a new one. We were given approval for repairs on the phone and told it had gone to the warranty company and that a new tech would come review and conduct repairs.2. Almost 1 month after the first, a second technician was sent out. The technician gave us completely different information than the first one and added charges that had not been discussed. Rollers, additional structural changes, etc. 3. We approved the costs because we need a functional door; however, they never sent the work order to the warranty company. We have been calling for two weeks and have called over 15 times. Nobody answers the call. We are still trying to get this sorted because the work has still not been done and our garage is not functional. Two months in, this company still has done done the work or called us back. I would not suggest this company and if you also have concerns, I would recommend finding an alternative garage company.

BBB1I DO NOT recommend this contractor. Used them through Choice Home Warranty and only had one spring broken but the technician said all of our rollers needed to be replaced (BS). Anyway, he fixed the one broken spring and then charged $150 to adjust it. My final cost with the service call was $215. When asking for an itemized statement the first one they sent showed charges of $775! I’m just wondering what they actually charged the home warranty company. Never again will I use Diamond Garage Door!!!

BBB1A horrible company that should not be in business. They aren’t responsive and the part they needed to order didn’t even work. They then lied and said the garage door broke due to accident to our warranty company. If they didn’t know how to fix our garage door motor then just say they don’t know how. But lying about it? Horrible.

BBB1I requested garage door service through American home shield. They assigned to diamond garage door who showed up within 24 hrs, and within 60 seconds, they guy tells me that the opener has a wire cut inside. It was a clean cut like done with a clipper. So they immediately said that the warranty won’t cover it as it’s a secondary damage and I should order a new opener through them right then and there and it ll be cheaper. They said either someone cut the wire or a rat got in lol. I have never opened that garage door opener and never seen a rat in my house, let alone on the ceiling of garage getting inside the opener and having a clean cut of just one wire, thts just crazy story!!! Anyways, I got the wire fixed through an electrician and the door still doesn’t work. It’s been about 10 weeks now and I can’t get them to come back and see it again since the wire isn’t the problem. Apparently they have a supervisor who gets the message but never calls back. I finally once spoke to her after multiple calls and she said to write her an email, and make sure I tell her the story again and home address as “there are too many emails I have to go through”. So I did that, and then sent her a reminder email after a week and now it’s been 6 weeks and I haven’t heard back. Terrible service, basically no service, just purchase new garage doors and install and they can’t do service, just come and cut wires.

BBB1Diamond Garage Door Dates are listed in this email because there is relevance. Thursday October 19, 2023: My garage door would not open ( my car was in the garage) I contacted Diamond Garage Doors (I explained that I could not get my car out of the garage) I was informed the earliest a technician could arrive Tuesday between 11AM-3PM. So, I was unable to leave my home for 5 days (unacceptable). Tuesday October 24, 2003: At 3:15pm I contacted them to inquire about the arrival time of the technician and was informed that his arrival time was between 2-6pm.The technician's arrival time was 6:20pm. Upon his arrival, the technician immediately began to tell me that all parts would not be covered and then began to quote the amount I would have to pay out of pocket-first in the amount of $493, then $642, and finally $802 before the diagnostic report was written. The technician left, my garage door was opened midway up. I reached out several times to Diamond Garage Doors regarding the repair, but to no avail. Afraid that I would have to spend another night with my garage partially open (l live in an area where raccoons, possums, and groundhogs run rampant, especially at night) I contacted "Percision Garage Doors." I called at 2:28pm At 2:36pm I received a call from a technician from Percision Garage Doors. The technician arrived at 3:13pm. My garage was repaired and the technician left my home at 4:35pm. I have not heard from anyone at Diamond Garage Doors and my garage door would still be midway up. Choice Words: UNBELIEVABLE & UNACCEPTABLE

BBB1Horrible experience. Door installed by our builder. A year later and morning but problems. Continually comes off track, won’t open or close. Paid for service. A week later and the problem starts again. I’ve owned multiple homes and I’ve never had these issues - let alone on a home that’s barely two years old. I’ve had to get another company to fix this mess.

BBB1This is the worst garage service ever. I made I claim on July 5,2023 with my warranty company. Tech supposed to come out at between 3 to 5 two days later. Guess what they had to reschedule the appointment he wouldn't have enough time. So the next day he came out for 10mins and said I need new sensors. Now it's august 2 2023 came installed the sensors. Still didn't work so he played around and said I needed a new logistics board. Ok insurance will pay for that cool. He came by the next day to install the logistics board . Soon as started working up and down he got into his car said it's all fixed. I said hold up my adt wires were sticking out not plugged into nothing. I ask what about those wires he told me to sticked them to the side . He said it kept tripping the garage door. Then my wall opener press any button and the door will open or close but one button it will open then come right back down. Plus the light on the garage doesn't work by itself like it use to do only works when the door opens. Terrible company I will never give this company another shot or anyone else. Now I have to pay to get a real company to do the work.

Yelp1worst company to work with ever. they dont retrun n=text or phone calls. Our 'custom garage door' is the wrong size and so wrong on the install it is not unsafe to use for fear of it falling on my car or my head. these people r con artists and should be put in jail

Yelp1Referred by our home warranty due to a broken spring in our garage door opener. earliest appointment was 4 days out. No technician ever called or showed up during the 4 hour appointment window (4-8pm). Time was after hours so unable to reach anyone from the company. Received a text message the next morning stating their technician had unforseen circumstances and was unable to make the appointment (which was the day before the text was sent). They rescheduled us for another appointment 4 days later. Our cars had been stuck in the garage for nearly a week so we just called someone else and paid out of pocket to get the help we needed. Can't speak to the work if they actually show up but we were unwilling to wait around on them given the poor communication and customer service experience. Btw - the company we did reach came out same day and fixed the spring in under an hour so just go with another company if you value your time!!

Yelp1I have had an open service request with this company since July 27th! The initial visit was fine but than there was a few week delay in getting the part ordered even though I had already paid for it. It took till September 26th for the tech to come out with the part but when he arrived, he realized the wrong part was ordered. I was told they would rush order the correct part but it's been over a month and I haven't heard from them! They are rarely reachable by phone and if you reach the, it is usually after being on hold for 40 minutes or more. I've sent emails that were never responded to as well! Don't bother using this company if you want something fixed in a reasonable amount of time!

Yelp4Garage door repair, had to hv them because of home warranty. Can't get in touch with them by phone. I texted them abt changing appt and they said they were glad I confirmed my appt. They did come out when they said they would. The person was very nice and very knowledgeable. I just paid for service call which wasn't too bad, otherwise it would hv been a little expensive for me since I don't work.

Yelp1I don't know how they stay in business. They came to my house 6 weeks ago and ordered a part and then left. I have not heard from them since. I have left serval messages, no calls back. As far as I know they went out of business. This has to be the worst service I have ever received. Winter is coming and I still have broken, unusable garage door. IF THERE WAS A WAY TO GIVE NEGATIVE POINTS, I WOULD!

It felt shady from the beginning , and it was . The guy "Danny " came put and said nothing was wrong , it was not broken .. the grinding and the slipping and the loud noise should have been a clue . They are scammers beware....

Yelp1Awful customer service. I put in a service request through my home warranty provider. These folks made me put off my appointment for a month because of one day that they wanted to come out that we wouldn't be home. Now on the day that we all agreed upon, they are a complete no-show, no-call. They have wasted 4 hours of my time (because their time is obviously more important than their customers) as they will only agree to a 4 hour window that they stand you up for. If you enjoy wasting half of your day then call Diamond Garage Doors. If you want someone who will respect you as much as they require you to respect them, then call someone else!

Yelp1Since they never showed, never responded after the initial text, I am assuming they don't need clients from Home Depot, since they are contracted with them. Returned the garage door opener and will probably go to Ace Hardware and give them, instead of a big box company our money. The lady at returns was very helpful, at Home Depot, but the one who was suppose to set up the install didn't do their job. So three unnecessary trips because of incompetence, with gas prices rising as we speak, really pissed us off. HD employees also weren't to hip on Diamond garage! Just be leery of installers that HE contracts with.
