Google2I waited to do a review. Complaints in the past didn't help much. Basically all the aluminum wrapping was installed incorrectly. When I first called they said I had to pay a trip fee since it was a yr out. I just spent thousands of dollars on windows where was I goi g to come up with money to fix what was done incorrectly. I've had to screw some on so they would stay on but the o w window is a complete loss. The upstairs window was measured incorrectly but I take partial blame since we didn't realize that the window I. There was already wrong but the foam was just everywhere. I did cut it down as well as I could. Highly disappointed after I replaced an entire house of windows.

Google5Steve Hawkins was our contact/sales person. Steve did a great job of explaining products, function and pricing. We are very excited about our project with feldco.

Yelp1It took over 2 years for them to install a garage door and 2 exterior doors. Nothing but issues. And zero compensation offered. We paid full price, and we still have problems. Our garage door had the same panel replaced 5x. The front door was eventually completely taken out and reset. We requested they do the same with the backdoor. They didn't. They've been out several times because it doesn't seal properly. And it's still not sealing. They don't stand by their products, and the customer service is a joke. We are speaking to an attorney.

Yelp2My wife and I purchased 4 new doors and signed up for the 18 months, no interest financing. We love the doors and the installers were extremely professional and did a great job! I got my first statement a week or so ago and it shows an 8.99% interest rate. I've been trying to get this changed for almost 2 weeks now! At least 8 phone calls including 3 calls to the finance manager Joel. Every time, I've been told they are working to get it changed and someone will get back to me in the next day or two. My first payment is due today. If I make the payment I'm afraid they will then say "Well, you make a payment at 8.99% interest so it's locked in and we can't change it now." Makes you wonder if they do this regularly?

Google1First just wanted to say I am not happy at all with the type of job that was done. Feldco promises clean and good work. But at the end of the day I feel like I could've done it myself truly and a lot better. I had to wait over 8 months of waiting just to get the workers here then another 4ish months with the job half way done. They said they would contact me to finsh the rest but they never did. I called several times and always would say I would get a call back but nothing. It got to the point where they even were trying to sue me. A lady emailed me saying they were gonna take legal action Mrs kaity fehland since I didn't pay the other half of the job when they never scheduled anything to finish it. They told me to only pay after the job is done. Instead of scheduling anything I got nothing. I called several more time I finally was able to figure something out but the job was not good at all. I'm disappointed because it was not cheap to do this type of work when I could've done it myself or I could've hired some other contractor that could've done a lot better job. The caulking around the door is horrible and looks like a kid did it. you step on the door base and it's not solid at all and it feels like you're going to break it or sink into it. And also after seeing that we had an alarm system they did not remove any of the door Door sensors after I asked if I could get them before taking the doors away. They said they would do it for me but never gave me anything. I called to tell the job was not done right or even good they said they would contact me to fix everything and nothing its been a 1 month wait going for 2. still waiting

Google5We are extremely pleased with the installation of windows & doors on our old home. Feldco installed 40 windows, 3 entry/3 storm doors & even converted 3 very large picture windows into twin double hung units. The new products make such a difference in energy efficiency & sound as well. Our old windows allowed a lot of air infiltration & we could hear just about everything going on outside. In the future we will definitely be using Feldco for our next home improvement project which will be siding!

Google2Contracted for $7500 worth of work. Windows are fine but actual installation was a rush job and looks bad. It was obvious at the time the guy was in a hurry because he called to reschedule because he didn't have time but then came and did half the job and came back to finish another day. Caulking around windows and trim was sloppy and cracked from day 1. Trim was given 1 sloppy coat of primer and looks like the guy had it sitting in the back of a dirty truck. I'm not at all impressed with the job. I have contacted several times to have the work fixed. All they have done is send techs twice to look at the issues but it has been months and nothing has been corrected. I would not recommend. Sales harassed me for months to set up appointment but actual contact to fix their sloppy work and it is crickets. I don't feel it is worth what they charge. Update as of July '22: They finally came back to "fix" and all they did was add more sealant to places there were cracks. It looks the same if not worse, in some spots. Nothing was ever done about the dirty trim or where they dropped chaulk. No one from Feldco has ever followed up with me about being dissatisfied. I get disgusted every time I hear their dang commercial.

Google1Feldco did a terrible job installing windows in our home. These pictures are pictures of what the left us with. They made uneven measurements and cuts on the flashing. They left sharp and jagged edges. They left holes in our siding(and coincidentally we've started swing ants but they won't talk blame for that) And just look at the caulking they left. Sloppy and unprofessional. They said the installer had be doing this for 25 years. His work doesn't reflect that. We asked them to fix it and they send the same guy, he did a worse job. So then they contract it out. This guy does a lot better but still didn't Caulk in spots and left holes. Overall Feldco was frustrating to work with, especially since we spent 10k+ on this.

Google5The windows are I bought from Feldco are fantastic! They are worlds better than the windows that were replaced. The installers were friendly and thorough. They even fixed the structural damage that the other companies wouldn't touch, so that the windows fit nice and securely. I would use Feldco again for my needs.

Yelp1Run as far as you can from this company it is one of the companies that is all nice and friendly until they get your money then everything changes. When the sales person came out they said we would have our new door early to mid November. They said we could get a blue door with blue trim, so we unfortunately signed the contract. The next step was another measurement which happened a week later than we were told it would and that person tells us our trim on our "custom made" (they claim) door will be white because apparently our "custom made to order" deals with what they have in stock a little curious for the extra cost of going with this company. He says he will require the blue trim and get back to us which never occurred. We finally get on schedule for install Dec. 15th a month later than previously told. Dec 10th comes and they cancel our install because their installer got Covid and we need to reschedule. I don't hear anything for awhile so I call back Dec 20th and they tell me they can get me on schedule for Jan 25th now. How when I was 5 days away do I get pushed over a month out and over 2 months past when it should have been done. She tells me the installer was out 3 weeks with Covid so I ask why I wasn't told earlier than the 10th when they knew the 15th wasn't going to work and I get told they didn't know before and I was contacted the day they found out of the positive test, so apparently he was out 3 weeks between the Dec. 10th and Dec 20th you know 10 days., but that is the reason my install is pushed back 5 weeks. Apparently everyone doesn't get pushed back a little just those of us who were at the front of the line waiting the longest get crapped on and pushed to the back. I can't stand companies that act this way once they get your money then treat you like total garbage. Thing is I was still a potential customer because I need windows on my main floor and a sliding door replaced no way in hell would I use a company that charges this much more than everyone else then treats me with so little value.

Yelp1We purchased a door in June and were told it would take up to 12 weeks to install. We are now at 14 weeks and they said they are waiting on parts but can't tell us which ones or when they expect to receive them. We want our money back so that we can go with another company!

Yelp1I purchased all new windows for my home and spent 9,000 dollars. The installers forgot the screens, one took a smoke break every 30 mins and most importantly didn't take the time to show me the different trim pieces to go around my window like he told me he would do before leaving that day. I called and explained my windows still needed the trim and also had large holes in the stool because we choose a different window style. Took 3 days and they sent someone out to do nothing and then another week before the trim pieces were in. He came today while I wasn't home and im so upset. The caulk job he did was horrible, very sloppy. I also requested no one wear there shoes in my home and he did anyway. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY Or time with these people.

Yelp2Initially we where very happy and felt great about our $9,000 purchase. Salesperson (Katie) was very pleasant and professional. Measurement process was completed quickly. During initial phases we asked if they had any concerns about installing our 2 story cathedral windows and was assured they could handle the job without a problem. Initial install date 1 month after purchase was cancelled, 45 min after the scheduled arrival time, due to an issue during transport. Even though we were scheduled for a 2 day install, they elected not to come the second day either. 2nd install appointment scheduled 2 weeks later for Saturday only. Crew arrived, were pleasant and professional but were not given advance warning about our 2 story cathedral window. Therefore did not have equipment necessary to complete the cathedral windows. They did a very nice job with our other windows and thoroughly cleaned up when done. We were told we'd be contacted by Feldco office monday to schedule 2 remaining windows. By Wed we had not heard from anyone so reached out with no return call. After a couple more attempts we contacted our sales person who was able to get in touch with the right person who was surprised to hear from us, and thought our install had been completed. It was now approaching Thanksgiving and was well past our contracted install deadline. We have continued to attempt to get our remaining windows installed with several tentative dates given but not followed through on. We are now entering the 12th week of guaranteed 8 week install deadline and still not completed. Communication and planning has been very poor and they do not seem eager to complete the work. It has been communicated to us they are too busy with other customers to complete the work. We have paid for OUR purchase and feel they should honor their commitment to current customers before bringing on new business. We thought using a local company would provide better service than the larger chains. They have not once offered to make things right for us despite multiple conversations and staff acknowledgemt of their failure to follow through.

Yelp5Top notch windows and very friendly in Peoria! They were not as cheap as one company but they were much better windows and not 1/3 of the cost of Pella and Anderson.

Yelp1Feldco installed 16 defective replacement windows at my home. They agreed to replace them after coming out and determining they were defective. They replaced them with more low quality windows, and did poor quality work. The caulk job is atrocious. The damage the did to the wood surrounding the windows is horrible and does not appear to be fixable with the windows installed. One of the windows is a large picture window which has been replaced twice both times with a damaged product. All of the windows are inconsistent in quality and all have small defects. From afar they look fine, just don't closely inspect them. They added wood inside of the old openings where it was not necessary to cover for windows being made to small. So now a previously finished opening has bare wood inside of the trim. The company is horrible at calling back when they say they will or responding to actual issues. They have dragged my $12946 install on for one 4 months now always claiming they will "make it right" but taking very little insufficient action to do so. They talk very nicely, and will sell you a good story, but the follow through isn't there. They sold their windows to me as high end windows at a mid lev price. These are not high end windows. The second installation crew told me how the first installation team did not even install their weather stripping internally properly. My experience with Feldco has been full of empty promises, lies, a defective product (x15 - I am okay with one of the 16 windows), low quality work, and a lack of action. They have made promise after promise to fix things, but do not do it. I have spent many hours on the phone attempting to get this remedied to no end. The last person to come look at the windows was going to replace the picture window, send someone to work on 14 other windows, and try to see how the company could compensate me for the multiple issues and time this has cost me. That was almost 3 months ago and nothing has happened to move forward with this. I did have to cancel one appointment, which I have been made to feel bad about even though they have done a no show where someone forgot to come and cancelled on me in the passed. This is the worst experience I have had buying any product or hiring any service ever. The quality of work would have gotten me fired from any construction job I have ever had, and I've had multiple. The amount of stress and aggravation this has caused is ridiculous. The employees are nice and seem to genuinely get things done for you but the product is horrible and whether or not they want to help the fact is they don't. They don't return calls and everything is someone else's fault. They first blamed the manufacturer of their windows then they blamed the installers then back to manufacturing then new installers Felco has never accepted responsibility for their product or work instead they blame it on the contractors they hire basically stating they are just middle men and pointing their fingers. I would never recommend Feldco to even my enemy, they are good sales men and friendly, but it feels like a big con job and they are definitely not honest. Four months of constant calls and waiting and the windows, which were paid for months ago, are still not close to satisfactory. Again this has been the most stressful purchasing experience I have even been through, and the quality is horrible.

Google5The total experience was completely unbelievable! From the seller to the installers, they were so very kind! They all were professional in every manner. As you can see from the picture attached just how incredible our new windows look! Of course, the top window is one of our new beautiful Feldco Windows and the bottom an old one. I love how they fold out for easy cleaning! They have screens for either the top or the bottom, whichever you chose to have open, it's adjustable. One of the most amazing features are the security lock on them in case you want to leave a window cracked for air flow and you don't have to worry about intruders or little ones climbing out the window. Feldco really does keep safety and quality in mind throughout everything! During our demonstration (before we purchased) Don Q.(Our sales guy, an amazing guy that has so much information to offer WITHOUT pressure) hit the demo window multiple times and with out even a mark on the window let alone a crack! Another thing that I really loved was the capping (around the windows) and window warranty! I am just saying when we were faced with getting new windows I am really glad we didn't go anywhere else and we found out Feldco do a whole lot more than just windows! I'm so excited for what our future holds with other home improvement projects! Thank you everyone at Feldco for everything!

Yelp1I purchased windows from Felco in May of 2014. I started calling them about a problem with one of the windows in January of 2015.The sales person, Joel, came out ,looked at one of the windows. He actually ordered and replaced that window 3 times. He left saying the window was repaired. I later started having problems with this window and the other windows that they installed.I called them again. I was told they would come out for a fee. Which I declined. I continued to contact them by phone. Finally, Joel and his co workers came out in 2016, because I was ready to file a complaint with the attorney general. No one took a ladder or any equipment to look for a problem. They showed me how to push the window with my arms until it closed. They said they could not find a problem with any of the windows they had installed. Even though I pointed them out. They were focused on telling me that the problem was me (because I am a senior). In June 2016, I called Joel, the sales person that came out to write up the original contract . He said he was going on vacation. He would contact me when he returned . In August of 2017 I had not heard from Joel. So I called again. He came out after I agreed to pay the $49.00 service fee for incorrectly installed windows. He did not do anything to check for problems except the same thing he did previously with his co workers. I am now filling a formal complaint. I have finally concluded that Felco is not a company that backs their products or what their employees say. They have $.01/1cent sales and that is exactly what you get. They guarantee their product so they can come back for the fee. Which keeps milking the customer who received defective service in the first place.

Yelp5My parents used them to replace two living room windows and a kitchen window. They were right on time and very professional. Worked very neatly and were cautious to step around plants my mom has outside. The job was completed in about an hour and all evidence of a job was taken with them (plastic, old windows, caulk). Afterwards they made sure my dad had all the necessary paperwork to claim the energy efficient windows on his taxes!!! Overall a great experience!!!!! Thanks!!!!!
