He is competent and he is reasonable. However, after he left, I noticed that flapper of the toilet was not coming down when I closed the water, so it kept flushing water, but he came back and fixed it. Overall, he is good and his competent level is quite acceptable. In addition to the three-hour big deal, he did more, and he came out and did it in two days. The next day, for the paint job in my bathroom, I told him to put on two coats of primer, and while it dried, he installed the light in my kitchen and replaced the smoke detectors, but he couldn’t finish the last coat, so he said he would come the next day, he did, and he finished it. Some parts that he had painted looked uneven at the corner, so I asked him if he could correct that, and he said that it would take a lot more time or something like that and he refused to do that, however, it was not a major defect but it was not perfect either. The second day, he worked for about one and a half hour and his regular price is $45 an hour, which is cheaper than most handymen, but that maybe because he didn’t charge me the trip charge as he was already here, so I don’t know how he would charge others. I gave him extra $100, he was very happy and he left. Before he actually came to do the work, he stopped over and said that he wanted to talk to me and see what I wanted done, to estimate what he could do within the 3-hour big deal offer. For the garage door problem, I had other handymen look at it and they all tried to rip me off, they all told me that some springs needed to be replaced and wanted to charge me over $1700. The handyman from Brandywine looked at the doors, he was very honest about it, and he told me all I needed was a new garage door opener, so he saved me a lot of money. Apparently, at that time Sears had a sale on them, they had a ten-year warranty, so I bought it for $149 and their technician installed it for another $150. So it came out be just about $300, when the all other guys wanted to make it a bigger job and charge me over $1700, so I was very happy with that. He spent almost an hour in my house before he started working and he didn’t charge me anything, for that time so I was very happy with him. Services Rendered: I used the big deal for Brandywine GC for handyman work to replace a toilet. He painted my bathroom ceiling with two coats of primer because it had stains from the beak of the skylight. He replaced a light fixture in my kitchen ceiling and replaced three smoke detectors. I had also had him look at my garage doors as sometimes it worked and other times it didn’t.
