Google5Dan was sooo great to help my elderly mom with an off track 50 year old door get fixed. He could have easily fooled her into thinking that she needed a new door and ate $400-500 later taken her money and her for a ride. He showed respect and attention to detail and totally repaired the door for less than two bills and a warranty to go with it. Ignore the previous 2 listings that pop up before Dan and just patronize him instead. He's sooo awesome and honest!! Kudos my man!

Google1Called to ask for service and they said it would be 2 weeks to get someone out but would call us before sending someone. Then week later someone randomly shows up and we tell them we already had another company fix issue as couldn't wait. They then bill us $125 for trip charge. Horrible way to treat a customer. Told us if we don't pay them they would send us to collections. It was their failure to do as they told us that they would call us before sending someone out. Hope that $125 was worth it for you...

Google5Just had Thomas & Hernan repair our glass storefront door. They did a great job replacing the pivots. They make a great team and were very knowledgeable and personable. I would definitely use Dan's Door Repair again.

Google1UPDATE: The wife of the owner has contacted us and offered to discount service and ensure the job gets done correctly and on time. However, we already contracted with another entity to complete the repairs, so we will not be taking their offer. Dan's Door Repair is by far one of the worst service companies I have ever conducted business with. I attempted to have Dan's Door Repair Service replace a panic bar exit device and 2 door closers at a child care facility in Scottsdale. I called and scheduled an appointment to receive an estimate for 3:30pm on a Wednesday. When I scheduled the estimate we asked for a 30 minute call ahead when the estimator was on their way, Dan's said that would be no problem. Wednesday rolled around and the estimator arrived on site a little after 8:30am with no call ahead notice. Unfortunately I was not on-site at that time as the appointment was scheduled for 3:30 in the afternoon. The technicians proceeded to take a few measurements anyway and then just left without saying anything to the office manager. Fast forward a few days. I received the estimate from Dan's and approved them to order the parts and proceed with the installation. Their office informed us that they would call back and schedule the installation when the parts arrived. Two weeks past and I never received a call from their office. When we called to follow up they said they would check on the part order and call us back to schedule the install. A few more days pass and one afternoon two technicians just show up at the facility to do the installation. At this point I had never received a call from Dan's to schedule the install. To make matters worse they showed up right in the middle of afternoon dismissal when our front entry is the busiest. I spoke with the technician on the phone and expressed how we couldn't have our only door unavailable during the busiest time of day and asked if they could come back the following Monday in the morning. The technician told me that they could do that and that they would come out the following Monday between 7 and 8 am. It is now Monday after 4pm as I am writing this review and their technicians have not arrived. I have called and spoken with their incredibly rude office manager twice who keeps telling us "Our technicians cannot schedule, that's not how commercial service works. We don't know when we will be there because commercial service takes so long." Dan's Door Repair is the most unorganized and unprofessional company I have ever worked with. We now have appointment for a specific time and date with another door repair company who informed us that they can in fact set a specific time and keep to a schedule even when it comes to commercial service. (imagine that) I cannot recommend Dan's Door Repair to any business period. They are completely unprofessional, unorganized, and have the worst customer service I have ever experienced in the commercial services line of business.

Google5Dan's Door Repair is a great company to have out for your commercial doors and windows, recently at my photography studio we had broken glass on our store front. Not only did this company get out same day as my call to them to quote the repairs that i would need, but within 1 business day (after i approved their quote) they were able to get out to repair the glass, because they already had it in stock at their shop! Their technicians were very helpful, and they answered all of the questions that i had about the quote, and the work that they did. On top of their exceptional service they gave me- they even gave the man in the suite next to mine a quote free of charge for an interior door that he needed repairs on as well. All around a great experience with this company, and i will continue to give them business in the future.

Google5Dan's door repair came out to our business, and took care of our automatic door issue promptly! The technicians they sent out were very nice, and also very helpful in answering all of our questions as well. I got my quote from them on repairs the next day, and after they completed the work that needed to be done, i got my invoice a few days later as well. They made sure that our doors were up to code per AZ state law as well- best door repair service we have ever had out to service our automatic doors.

Google5I had a challenging door repair, and my initial quote was higher than the actual cost turned out to be. Even though I had already paid the higher amount, Dan's Door Repair promptly refunded the difference. They also did a fine job on my door.
