Google5After over 20 years of home ownership, the garage door spring broke. A1 sent Adam Johnson and Jay to replace the spring. They were great to work with, explaining the components with clear detail and answered all of my questions. They were able to get the repair done in a quick manner and were very transparent in the pricing, giving different options. I have multiple homes in the valley, so I will definitely go with them again should I need any more garage door repairs or upgrades. I highly recommend this company for how quickly they were able to come and repair the issue. They said it best when your garage door fails, it's like losing a front door and it becomes a wall.

Google5JR installed the new door and found a slight panel manufacturing defect. JR did a great job on the initial installation. Love my new door! The panel replacement arrived the next month and Troy installed it today quickly and perfectly. Both gentlemen were so professional and polite. 5 ⭐️’s from me for service excellence!

Google5Preston was great!! Exceptional customer service Beyond 5 stars He made our 10 year-old garage door work like it's brand new. Also.. when the door opens and closes it's so quiet. Google5Damien came out to help with a broken spring today. I was impressed with the promptness of his arrival (within one hour of calling) and the professional experience from start to finish. Extremely knowledgeable and walked me through step by step what was broken and different options to fix it. They offer high quality services and an excellent warranty. As a female, younger, homeowner I am often wary of being taken advantage of. I was impressed by their ability to work with me on pricing and explain the true quality of the service being provided. They went above and beyond and I will absolutely be referring out in the future.

Google5Josh Hixenbaugh from A1 Garage Door Service was amazing! My garage door opener was broken, and he replaced it very quickly, everything was done within an 1hr 30min. He also replaced the bearing roller, checked small details, and even organized all the wires neatly. Josh answered every question I had with great knowledge and patience. Jack Zellner was able to quickly identify the root cause of the problem , paid attention to my needs and concerns, also managed a coordinated effort with his Team in order to provide a list of options to implement the semi-custom solution needed to fix my garage door. Definitely a top notch professional! I didn't give six stars just because they are not available. Also I want to thank his Team mate Bryan who provided his contribution to the project completion. Yelp2I ordered some Clopay Gallery Collection GR2SU doors that have the wood look on the outside. Mike's quote wasn't the cheapest but I went with the Yelp reviews. Mike came out quickly to provide a written quote and I wanted the short box style so that I could add my carraige door hardware to the doors. Mike didn't think that the shortbox style would work and wanted me to go with the long box for the space in the middle to add the dual handles. I did my own homework online and found the short box was just fine but Mike still said not to trust them. Anyways Mike took the deposit and gave me a date a few weeks out when they should be ready. Around the date expected, I called Mike twice and left voice mails and even emailed him without a response. A week later I got a call at night saying that his guys would be at my house in the morning to install. No heads up or response to my previous requests, and not asking if someone would be home and if this time would work. So we moved some things around to make the time work and some sub contractors showed up the next day and installed the doors for us. The guys that installed them were great and I wish I would've had their information from the beginning instead. Also the short box style was just fine for the carraige door hardware and had the proper amount of spacing in the middle that I needed for the dual handles. I am not sure why a person selling garage doors would not have known this if this is their business? After the install, Mike never showed up to inspect the work but instead asked that the balance be mailed to him instead. Sorry but the doors are manufactured elsewhere and anyone else can install them for you so when my neighbors ask where I got them, I don't recommend this company. The lack of communication, lack of knowledge about the product, and lack of follow-up are not what I was expecting.

Yelp5I love my new door! After shopping around, and asking a LOT of questions we decided to go with this company because of the quality of the Amarr door and the very reasonable price. The door/opener was ordered and installed within 3 weeks. The opener worked for a couple weeks but then started acting up. Mike personally came out and replaced a circuit board but then determined the issue to be a defective LiftMaster unit altogether. Which is very rare. LiftMaster agreed to swap the unit and Mike again came out to install the new unit within 1 business day. He stood behind his warranty which we appreciate. Unit works great and we are very satisfied with both the door/opener and level of service provided by Makeover My Garage Door.
