Google2This store runs hot and cold when pertaining to customer service. The "app" is not always accurate. Be prepared to wait in line at the self check out or the "one" human manned register in the lumber area.

Google5I went to this location to find stuff for my wife’s project. Lumber, nobody offered help, we got what we needed… asked the VERY NICE PEOPLE at the check out (no kidding they were very nice) for help to get planks cut, they tried to assist, 35 min later standing by the lumber cutting area an employee walking by asked if we needed help, we said we are waiting for assistance and he went out of his way to help us. Nobody came up and after a few minutes he came back around and assisted us. Thank you DERECK, an A team player for the store. Management needs to know who their strong links are and reward them.

Google5Our snowblower broke and we are expected to get over a foot of snow in a few days. We rushed to Home Depot after work and John in the garden center was SO helpful in helping us choose which snowblower to get and even gave tips on setting it up. He helped us get a boxed snow blower down from the shelves so that it would fit in my car. When trying to fit it, he measured the box and my car and helped by taking the item out of the box/ off the pallet to allow it to fit in the car. He and his coworker whose name I did not get were able to help my fiance get it in the car gently and sent us on our way. We appreciated John’s ability to help, answer questions, and get us taken care of quickly.

Google2I own a house in Tobyhanna and am making improvements in preparation to sell. My experience with Home Depot was mixed: 1). Carpet and kitchen floor measurements (Poor) Home Depot requires that they measure rooms to order flooring. You can't measure it yourself. The wait for an appointment was over a week. The first appointment was cancelled at the last minute because the person called in sick. I had to wait another week for an appointment. The second appointment was cancelled at the last minute because the person called in sick. The measuring was done on the 3rd try. Total time elapsed was over 3 weeks. 2). First Carpet Installation Job (great) No problems with carpet installation. Carpet looks great. Price reasonable. 3). Kitchen floor (great, except delivery problems) I had vinyl plank flooring installed. It came out great. Installation went well. Price reasonable. The delivery process was somewhat inconvenient. The installer could not bring the tiles to be installed. They had to be delivered separately. The first delivery attempt was cancelled because there was a moderate amount of snow in the driveway. I drove over it with no problem. Delivery was made on the second attempt. 4). Second Carpet Order (Totally Unsatisfactory / Order Cancelled) I ordered carpets for 2 additional bedrooms. 10 days later I've been calling to followup on the order and try to schedule installation. Home Depot has problems finding the order. Says it doesn't exist even though I have a receipt and charge to my credit card. Phone calls are dropped. Call backs are agreed to and don't happen. I just disputed the $2,000+ order charges with my credit card company. I spoke to Pam in flooring and she agreed to email me the measurements that I paid for so I can give them to another vendor. She agreed. No email was sent. Home Depot is affordable, but can be very difficult to work with if you need a project done quickly. I live in Delaware and am only near the East Stroudsburg store when I'm visiting my Tobyhanna House. Dealing with them by phone is a nightmare.

Google5Just wanted to share my experience with the flooring I recently purchased, I was fortunate to get a young lady name Lisa Cain, she was professional, patient and very well expierience with the flooring I needed, thanks to her help & service, I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my purchase, I explained to her how I have dogs and needed something water resistant and strong, her patients .and time she took was impressive. Hope all my experience with home depot are with sales people like her. Pleased customer

Google1The paint department needs better service. The rep didn’t even acknowledge me and I waited for about 20-30 mins to be helped while she stood by the computer. It wasnt busy, not sure why it took so long to take my order, the rep could have been polite and said something. Finally someone else showed it. I was a little yo leave. Really bad service

Google5So much better than going to Lowe’s and so many more products to offer. And the employees actually walk up to you and even help you put things in your car if you ask without them running away. Much more inventory better quality products.
