I have a Wayne-Dalton garage door (20'x7') that was purchased a Lowe's and installed in 2008. The spring had a rated life of 10,000 cycles, and after approx. 6 yrs. of used the spring failed. I called North Jersey Garage Doors, LLC for an estimate to repair the door. They promptly returned my call and scheduled an appointment for the next day to examine the problem and provide an estimate. They gave me an estimate of Time and cost to repair the door, and suggested an alternative repair that would upgrade the life of the new spring by 2X for a very modest increse in cost (+$35). I opted for the upgraded unit and scheduled the repair. The parts were ordered, delivered and installed within 3 working days. The job went very smooth, and the service personnel were both prompt, courteous, and very professional. I would highly recommend them for any garage door repair. Services Rendered: Repaired and upgraded a broken garage door spring with a unit that has a useful life of double that of my previous spring.
