    I believe that this company did a substandard job and are unwilling to fix the problems that were discovered. The company will not even communicate with us to discuss our concerns. On January 14, 2016, while I was on an overseas trip, my girl friend contacted me and advised me that our garage door opener was not working. ?I advised her to contact a local company and have the opener replaced. ?After an Internet search was initiated, she decided to contact Ace Garage Door Repair of Wilsonville, [*** Link removed ***] On January 15th, She contacted the company (503-573-8022) to schedule an appointment for the 18th.? On January 18th, a man came over to do the work, can't remember the name of the person but his phone number is 425-305-0083. The installation lasted for about two hours. ?She paid by a debit card for the amount of $518.00. The man told her that he would contact his office and they would send a receipt, no receipt has been received to this date.? I returned from my trip on the January 25th. The next day I took a look at the new garage door opener and had some concerns about how the installation process. The following are a list of my concerns: Chain is too loose.?Sensors are too high, approximately 16 inches from the ground.?Did not remove old sensors. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ??Hardware is loose on chain assembly.?Bare wires not properly secured.?Left excess wire attached to the sensors.?Open/close button loose on wall.? On January 27th, My girlfriend??contacted the company with our concerns. They scheduled an appointment for the next day between 12 to 2 pm. ?After they did not show up at the scheduled time Karen called the company (503-573-8022) at 3:30 pm and left a message. She then called the man who came over to the house to do the work (425-305-0083) and he said, "I thought someone went over there". ? Another appointment was set up for the next day, January 29th from 9;00 to 11:00 am. No one showed up or called on the 29th either.? On February 5th we went over to the address listed on their website and discovered there was no office located there. ?I called the company and talked to Marisa and asked her what the physical address is where the company is located. She told me that customers were not allowed to come to the office because there was not a physical office. ?I told her a list of my concerns, the physical condition of the product and the lack of communication and she took our address and phone number and said he would give me a call back in 30 minutes, no call back was ever received.?On February 5th, I had a contractor friend call the office and try to retrieve their CCB number, when he asked for the CCB number, they hung up on him. Also on February 5th, we went to our bank to dispute the charges. We filed a formal complaint and received a provisional credit for the amount of $518.00. On April 29th 2016, our bank contacted us and said our claim was closed. ?The bank said the company would not respond to them.?
