These guys are amazing! We needed a new spring for our door a little over a year ago and they came out right away and fixed everything better than new. Last week, one of the springs broke again and when they came out they let us know it was still under warranty and there was no charge to fix the spring again. Excellent customer service!!!

Chris was great. He fixed my garage door, yet was honest about it's condition. It's a cheap model that was here when I bought the house. He told me it would probably need to be replaced soon, but he got it working again for me until then. One month later, it was acting up again. He fixed it again at no charge. Now several months later, it's time for a new one and I'm giving him a call now! I've used this company a few times and I've never had any issues. Would recommend!

This business was recommended to us by our contractor. The owner of Fairview, Chris, came out and installed two huge doors on our shop, then later two new garage doors (with openers)on the garage. Chris does good work on the install. However that's where the customer service stops. The first time we used one of the garage doors it had a problem. It would open but then wouldn't close. Chris came out and re-attached the photo-eyes on this door and the door began to work. After that, each time we used the door it wouldn't close. The photo-eye was only clipped onto the door rail, and came off whenever used. Many calls later to Chris, he never answered his phone. He would send a canned text msg saying his calendar was full and he would need to get back to us, but he never did. After a year of calling Chris our contractor even called him - a contractor who had sent a LOT of business to Fairview. Still no customer service from Chris. Sadly after two years we finally had to hire someone else to fix the door. I'd say you are better off to find a business who takes care of all their customers, not just the new installations.

(buyer beware) So this gentleman was recommended by a friend who I trust, I didn't have such a good experience with this man, I had him install a new garage door opener on my triple car garage. When he left it worked a couple of times, and then it wouldn't open at all. I called him and he came over the next day and adjusted the photo eyes. It finely got it to work and a couple days later the garage door opener made a very noisy sound with a high vibration and you almost have to wear ear plugs to close the door on normal operation. I called this one man back again and of course he doesn't answer the phone and so I left a message and no call back. 2 days later I called again and left him a lengthy message on the phone and no return call again, so I am a business man of 25 yrs and never had run across such poor service, So now I have to hire another company to find out why this unit is so bad, he will get my best feedback on this install and reputation is everything.

Years ago I had Fairview garage doors help replace a window pane in my garage door that was broken. It was painless and inexpensive. So years later, in a new (old) home, I needed to have a garage motor replaced. Chris was really responsive, and sold me a really nice and quiet motor with some really great wifi features. It was installed professionally, and for a really fair price. I definitely recommend him for any service or installation of garage doors or motors.

Chris is very professional, has fair prices, and gets the job done right the first time. He has come all the way to my home in Forest Grove 3 times over the past few years to fix my garage door. 1. I pulled it off the track with my hatchback (he put it on the track and braced it) 2. He installed a new single piece track to replace the old 2 piece track that caused the door to shake when it opened and closed. 3. He fixed the opener when it malfunctioned. I have recommended him to friends and they all have had great experiences with him.

Fairview Garage Doors is a pleasure to work with! They are extremely friendly, on time, and their prices are great! While getting some electrical problems fixed on the door they made sure to clean the metal gears as just an added service. I have used them multiple times. We even got a Christmas card! Very pleased with the service they provided. Very thorough. I appreciated that they pointed out a potential problem with the door or by putting up the metal strip. Services Rendered: On a new home, could not get the outside key pad to work. Fairview came out and solved the problem by providing a universal key pad to replace the old one. They also did maintenance work and also put up a protective metal strip on the door where the wood was becoming worn from use.

The work was excellent. I don't recall exactly what had happened but it was a matter of time and wear, and the mechanism needed a tune-up. The door not only works again, it's more quiet than it was when new. Services Rendered: The garage door opener just stopped working (after 15 years) and we couldn't get the cars in or out. I called Fairview Garage Doors and they came right away to assess the problem. Because their day was already partially scheduled, they left and returned later that afternoon to fix the problem.

It went very well. I had contacted Chris due to feedback from another customer. I had a slightly lower bid but was glad we selected Fairview. He diagnosed the problem and told me the problem and how he could make both motors work. He arrived on time for the bid and for the work. Both doors have been working great for a month. He was able to get both motors working on a single remote and we are very happy with his work. Services Rendered: We have two motors that were not working. HE was able to replace one and repaid the other.

Chris came out the same day I called him and preformed all work himself in a professional manner. He did not delegate the job to someone else. His price was very fair and the quality of his work was excellent. He listened to all my concerns and did everything I requested and more. I requested service from Chris at "Fairview Garage Doors" because I knew my door tension springs were out of proper adjustment. The door was very difficult to manually lift open after pulling the release lever and would not stay up in any position. I knew this was not good for the door, the opener, or myself when trying to get my car out of the garage on one of the numerous power outages I had in Gresham this winter. ( 4 already this winter from PGE) I would not hesitate to call Chris again for service. Services Rendered: Adjusted spring tension on double garage door, thoroughly inspected and lubricated entire door and opener. Installed new stronger door attachment bracket.
