After much research on the web, including Angie’s List and the Oregon CCB, I hired J&J Overhead Door in May 2020 to tune-up the 14-year old garage door and garage door opener in my Wilsonville home. I was not disappointed in J&J’s work. Justin - the owner - was the best: knowledgeable, skilled, hardworking, and just a darn nice person! In addition to the tune-up, I had a short list of additional requests for Justin when he showed up, such as fixing some dings in the garage door tracks and lubricating the torsion tube bearings. Justin patiently and graciously did everything I asked and even found and fixed a problem from the original opener installation 14 years ago. His work was outstanding, and despite the additional items he charged me only his original and very reasonable quote of $49 for the tune-up. I’m so lucky I hired J&J Overhead Door. He and his partner were quite quick in the installation, he programmed the remotes, and showed me how to program the keypad. Well done. Justin helped us choose our door style and ordered the door from the manufacturer and scheduled installation in 4 weeks. He arrived on the date scheduled removed the old door, installed the new one and helped us set up the opener. The job took about 4 hours and he did a thorough cleanup. Excellent service! Hot 95+ degree day. I called and made a same day appointment with Justin. He called me two (2) hours prior to the appointment time and said he was in the neighborhood. He arrived in 10 minutes and had the door working in less than 30 minutes. Very reasonable priced service. Highly recommended! He will get my business again! I went to open my door in the morning as i always do, and it wouldnt open. I called a couple places local and a couple already listed on this site but wasnt able to get much help. I had to call my friend and let her know i couldnt meet her because my car was stuck, she recommended this company because of her own personal experience. I called J&J Overhead Door and Justin answered the phone. He was very helpful and asked a few questions which helped us determine my door had a broken torsion spring. He explained what he thought the problem was and a rough estimate of what he thought it might be to fix. We scheduled a service call and Justin arrived right on time between the time frame he gave me. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a broken spring and quoted me a price. My door required a few additional parts to properly fix, not surprising due to its age of about 12 years. My door now works awesome and is quieter than it has ever been. As it turns out Justin was actually the owner and has been installing door and fixing them for over a decade, which really shows as i watched him work. I am so glad my friend recommended this company to me. I will definitely use this company for any future service i may need. Services Rendered: Fixed my garage door including new springs and rollers.
