I was working in my garage and a 2x4 that was in the corner accidentally fell and when I went to close the garage door it caused the cable in the drum to loosen and the door wouldn't close correctly. This happened on a Saturday night and I was worried that I would have to wait until Monday to get it fixed. I called a handful of places, but none were able to work on the door until Monday. I found Alba on Angie's List and spoke to Jimmy at around 9pm - at first he was able to have someone out between 2-4pm, but I needed someone in the AM. He then found another technician (Ben) that could be there by 9am. Ben showed up on time and not only fixed the door, but found some other issues, and also gave me some maintenance tips to help keep the door working better. I would recommend Alba and if you are in the western suburbs I would ask for Ben. Services Rendered: Garage door repair - drum cable, brackets, etc.

The garage door was pushed in a little from a car hitting it. Jimmy replaced the door. It looks great! Services Rendered: Jimmy did a great job replacing our one car garage door. He was on time & professional. This is the second time we've used them & we will definitely call them again in the future!

The experience started out well, but then he needed additional parts once he showed up, so I'm not sure whether I got a good deal. Otherwise, he did a good job. Services Rendered: The garage door wouldn't open because a certain part was broken. He ended up having to replace additional parts.

I called up several other companies, Alba Garage Doors gave me a quote and said he could come out today. Told him I would call him back, called a couple of other companies and received estimates from them too. Alba Garage Doors was reasonable,fast and chipest . They came out repaired my door, charged me the estimated amount.

On a Wednesday morning when I was getting ready to go to work, I heard a horrible noise when I pushed the button to open my garage door. I pushed the garage door button again, but the door would not open. I called Alba Garage Door Service and they were able to come the same day to fix my garage door. Jimmy of Alba explained what was wrong and what he had to do to fix it. Jimmy was very courteous and knowledgeable, and he performed an outstanding job. I had called a couple of other local companies to compare pricing and to see who could provide the quickest service. Alba Garage Door Service had provided the best price and were able to fix my garage door on the same day. It is wonderful to know that companies like Alba still exist in which they care about their customers and provide outstanding services with great quality at competitive and reasonable prices. I would highly recommend Alba Garage Door Service, and have already done so to several of my neighbors and friends. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
