It went very well. Charles, who installed the door as well as providing a bid, was professional in his original meeting with me. He answered all my questions well, and Bell's price was competitive. He arrived early after checking with me to make sure it was ok, and he did the work quickly and efficiently. He cleaned up after completing the job. I didn't think he should have charged us to fix it. I think he know his job but there was something that he didn't set up right and we had problems with it little later. Services Rendered: I use Bells Garage Doors & Gates for garage door services. We had him do a new garage door and we had a problem with the garage door later and he did come out and fix it but he charged us to fix it.

We called 3 or 4 gate installers and Pat was the only one who responded. His bid was acceptable, so we hired him to do the work. He came out on a very hot, hot day and worked all day to install the gate, and openers. I was impressed by how hard this man works. The garage door opener has been wonderful! My car was stolen out of our detached garage a week previously, so having an opener that is compatible with a wireless monitor that alerts us when the door is opened has given us some peace of mind. The gate and gate opener, however, posed some problems. The gate opener is very technical and beyond our ability to troubleshoot, so we had to call him out a few times (once was our fault because we accidentally loosened the electrical connection without knowing it). I felt terrible having to call him out since we live in Vacaville and he is all the way in Citrus Heights. Most of the time, he came right out without any complaints. We did, however, have a little trouble scheduling him once because his brother died, but he came out as soon as he returned from the funeral. The latest problem was when the opener broke away from the gate. Another gate opener installer told us the metal on the farm gate was too thin to hold the weight of the opener, and a metal "sleeve" should have been welded to the gate before welding the opener. After a few tries to have Pat fix the problem (his wife was in the hospital), Pat came out and attached a "sleeve" to the gate then re-welded the opener to the "sleeve." I asked him why he didn't do that in the first place, and he said he didn't have the metal and wanted to install the gate as quickly as possible for us. Be assured that if he installs an opener to a farm gate in the future, he won't make that mistake again. The gate opener has worked perfectly since then and is also connected wirelessly to a monitor that alerts us when the gate is open. Overall, we are pleased with Pat's service. Services Rendered: Installed farm gate and automatic opener and installed new garage door opener.

Pat was very responsive to email and phone calls. He gave us reasonable estimates for each proposed job, and visited our house to meet with us and discuss the specifics. First, he installed our garage door mechanisms. It took him less than a day. They work perfectly and his prices were completely reasonable. The installation of the garage door mechanisms was such a smooth transaction that we asked him for an estimate for an automatic gate and fencing for our driveway and the front of our property. He came up with a beautiful gate design and again gave us a very reasonable estimate. The gate is of high quality and just what we wanted in terms of design. He installed the gate and fencing in a timely manner and he was very pleasant and easy to work with through the entire process.
