Google1This guy installed my door and opener, and vanished! As of April 2025, apparently this "award winning" company just disappeared. Why do I know this? He installed a wall mounted opener that was bolted in to drywall, and naturally it just ripped out of the wall one day.

Google5Dakota showed up right on time and was kind and courteous. He was very knowledgeable and explained the issue with my garage door thoroughly and gave me options on how to fix it. I was able to schedule online and it was quick and easy. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for garage door repair or replacement.

Google5Gabe came out and replaced a broken spring for me during the weekend within a couple hours of my first calling. He had the spring replaced very quickly and charged me exactly what he had said he would. Super fast, friendly service and I'd highly recommend him to anyone with garage door problems!

Google5This company is very easy to work with. The repair man arrived on time and repaired my garage door very quickly and explained everything he was doing to the door. He was very professional and repaired the door in less than 30 minutes. I would definately use them again.

Google5Dakota texted that he was on his way at the beginning of the appointment window, and gave us a prompt and very fair estimate, and got right to work repairing our broken door spring. Showed us where to put lubricant, in order to keep the door well maintained in the future. Great, quick response and service! So glad we scheduled!

Google5We recently moved from literally across town and wanted to replace both garage doors attached to our home. We had tried the on-line "white pages" with the old home when we had work done then. It was laughable. The guy was out of his truck, no sign, name tag or paper receipts. Once the astronomical price he quoted was rejected he gave me a bare Bones price which I accepted,. The job itself was minimal and security wasn't such an issue as it is now. This time, it really mattered. After researching a while I found Prolift. Although rather a new company the reviews they had were amazing. The word of mouth thus far has been nothing but positive. Although we had to wait a little while longer for materials, due to their vendor it was well worth the wait. Of course the day of installation the skies decided to open up and rain all day long, on both technicians, but they held steadfast and did their job in amazing time. When the job was complete I went out to take the first look and I was a little bit upset because I noticed it to be very crooked. And when I say "very" it was so slight, my kids told me it wasn't crooked at all. When the technician came out he saw immediately the same issue that I did and assured me it would be taken care of and it was. I had to leave before it was done and when I came home it was absolutely perfect. At the end of the day, I had realized that there hadn't been a keypad installed on the door frame of the garage itself. That was unfortunate since it was one of the 1st things I told the technicians that I needed to have no matter what, at the end of all of it. I sent a message and was immediately met with an open understanding attitude from someone who cared whether we were happy or not. These doors are absolutely gorgeous! Happy is an UNDERSTATEMENT and the misunderstanding about the keypad? It was fixed the day after immediately by the owner himself and his wife. These are GOOD HONEST HARD WORKING People who I am proud to advertise for!!

Angi5They are locally owned, and their service technician was really good. In fact, one of the things he did that I was really impressed with was that he did a couple of things service-wise that were not part of what we paid for. He offered to service a couple of things and gave everything a look over to make sure we were good to go. He seemed to go a little bit above and beyond. I got a couple of other bids, and I think they were pretty much on par price-wise. I would use them again in the future if necessary. Services Rendered: We had a manual garage door, and we used Linn-Benton Garage Door to install everything we needed to make it an automatic garage door.

Angi5Their telephone response was very good. I talked to Butch and Steve, and also to a lady whose name I didn't get. All were friendly and professional, and were able to get enough information over the phone to bid the job. While I wasn't too happy with the price, it was consistent with competitors' bids, so it's an industry thing, not a SGDS thing. Rodney, the installer, arrived precisely on time. He explained several decisions I would have to make (keep old gasket to save painting or have him install the new one, etc.). He was very friendly, worked very fast and carefully, and cleaned up everything so the garage looked the same as when he arrived. Billing was over the phone the next day, and was taken care of quickly and in a friendly manner. I would not hesitate to recommend SGDS to others! Services Rendered: First, the company name is Salem Garage Door Specialists, not Linn-Benton Garage Door. Everything else is correct. I asked them to bid on replacing the damaged bottom two panels of my garage door, and also to bid on replacing the entire door. Turns out that repairing the door was almost as expensive as a whole new door, so I opted for getting the new door.

Angi5The company representative gave me the first of three free estimates from different companies. All three companies had similar pricing for similar products by different manufacturers. I went with this company because they seemed to be the most professional. Although I'm still not certain that the brand of door chosen was the best for the money, I was pleased with the contractors from start to finish. So far the door looks and works great. Services Rendered: Replaced rotting wood garage door, spring and hardware with new Wayne Dalton door and hardware.
