Google1Terrible communication with this company…. They were supposed to call me so I could meet them at a home and they could fix the garage door on a shop on the back …. Overhead door never called me so i got tired of waiting on them and I called them at 3:00 pm ….. the lady at overhead door of San Angelo said that she would get in touch with the workers and call me right back….. I waited until 4:45 and I never heard from her …. I tried calling her back and the answering service answered the phone and said that they were closed …. I left a message for someone to call me but it looks like they are not going to call me back at all ….. a simple phone call is all it takes …. I don’t understand why overhead door never called me back

Google5Overhead doors from San Angelo did a great job for me today. I needed to replace the garage opener and the spring. Really nice staff and did not take them long at all to install. Thank you

Google1Poor interpersonal communication skills over the telephone! Over a week out for an appointment?! It's a wonder this company is even still open. You're better off replacing the door/opener with one from Lowe's or Home Depot and getting away from this company.

Google1Very disappointed with the service received from Jody and Overhead door. I have a six year old door opener they put in that started making a horrible grinding noise. A technician came out and spent - at the most 10 minutes lubricating the chain and rail. I wrote a $75 dollar check and he left. I knew by the afternoon that wasn’t the problem, called back and couldn’t get an appt for 4 days. They came back out and told me the circuit board was bad, paid $86.60 for a new circuit board. So at this time I am in for $161.60. The technician stated that if this didn’t fix the problem they would come me out and replace the unit for about another $400 with a $75 credit. After a few days it was obvious this was not the problem. I called our home warranty co, they dispatched another garage door opener co and he tells me a gear in the unit is broken and that is my problem. The home warranty co will replace the unit. I called Overhead door co of San Angelo back to see what the warranty is on the circuit board and Andrea tells me the years, but she can’t approve a refund. She returns my call the next day and states Jody will not refund my money. I ask to speak to him and he tells me I didn’t give them the opportunity to fix it correctly and I should have called them back instead of another co. Are you kidding me??!!?? How many times is a customer supposed to call for service? Whatever happened to customer service and get it right the first time?

Google5We were in a very tough bind with a garage door that badly malfunctioned and was left dangling in a precarious and very dangerous position. We called late on a Saturday from out of town, and hearing the tough situation we had, they were willing to come down and get things not only safely down but actually got the door fixed and working again. I consider this going above and beyond. Really appreciate that they got us out of the mess we had, and certainly they will be the first we will call in the future for any garage door need we have. Thank you so much, guys!
