BBB1I purchased a required windstorm rated garage door through ********** and they assigned Comfort Garage Door to install it per Clopay Drawing #****** instructions. On November 14, 2022 the ***** ********** of ********* Inspector performed the inspection to meet windstorm insurance requirements and failed the inspection due to incorrect installation of door jambs, loose nuts of bolts on roller tracks, roller stems missing push nuts, roller stems did not extend past the end hinge roller carriers, right side at the bottom of the top section, the end hinge roller carrier fasteners were not installed, garage door chain track was installed incorrectly and chaffing on garage door when raised, garage door sensors were not set correctly and door would not properly open or close. My garage door required a ***** ********** of ********* inspection after final installation to meet ***** Windstorm ********* requirements. A professional garage door installer from ******* ***** was assigned to correct all discrepancies on February 17, 2023 and passed the ***** ********** of ********* Inspection and now meet ***** Windstorm ********* requirements. This created a risk of damage or injury to the occupants and restricted the homeowner from using the garage door until all discrepancies were corrected. This was totally unprofessional service provide by this company.

BBB1I purchased a garage door from ********** and Comfort Garage Door was to receive the door delivery after the build and install it. This occurred right before Covid, and so there were delays. When trying to schedule the delivery and installation, the owner was not cooperative or customer service orientated, and ended up refusing to do the installation. The 8 ft. clearance needed was going to be provided by my son, but the techs decided they weren't going to complete the job. If you need any work done on your garage door, or have a new build, Ibhighly recommend going elsewhere. I would NOT recommend this company
