Yelp1Danny came to the house and measure my garage door. He said he going to send his garage technician the following day. The tech came in the morning he said i need lower railing. He ask me question on what garage door i want. I told him everything and he told me that Danny will text me the estimate. But txt me if there is update on garage. I said yes i asked him where is the estimate twice on the txt no respond friday and saturday. I really need my garage door right way. He called me sunday morning asking me what happening and i told him i already hire someone to install a new garage door for very good price. He told me is that how you do business. I told him you didn't respond on all my txt friday and i need this garage door fix right away. He told me he is very upset at me. Why would you get upset at me if you dont reply back at your customer for 2 days and i need the job done right away. Plus you said you do FREE ESTIMATE. Why would you get mad at me if you didn't get the Job.

Yelp5Danny provided exceptional service in diagnosing my garage water issue, and then replacing the recommended seal. He was super friendly and not only replaced the seal, but then went the extra mile by greasing up the tracks and lubricating my door for no extra charge. His price was better than my other quotes. He also gladly allowed me to take photos of him lubricating the door so that I could do it myself in the future. I very highly recommend him!

Yelp5I called owner Danny because I thought the Lift Master he installed about two years ago needed a new backup battery (it was beeping). He came out immediately; did an inspection; changed the battery; and, oiled the railings. I cannot say enough about Danny's service and I would highly recommend his business. Thank you Danny! :-)

Yelp5The spring on one of our garage doors broke yesterday. Danny at Open Sesame Garage Doors provided great service for us in December 2022, so I called him. He returned my call a couple of hours later and we booked an appointment for this morning (Sunday). Tom showed up within the designated window and promptly and efficiently took care of the repair, apprising us of his progress (including costs) every step of the way. Within in hour the repair was complete. On a Sunday. On what is for many a holiday. And they offer a discount for return customers. I am a very pleased customer.

Yelp1My 92-year old mother was having problems with her ~7-year old garage door opener. She inadvertently disconnected the door from the cable [pulling down the pull cord], and after re-hooking it, it wouldn't close completely -- stopping ~12" from the ground. I thought it might be the light sensor, but determined that wasn't it. Regardless, the opener/engine/system seemed fine -- the door moved up and down smoothly and easily without any weird noises or issues, other than not closing completely. As I didn't have any luck trying to fix it, I suggested she call someone who should be able to re-connect things so it closed completely -- a pretty service call. Next day my mom tells me Danny came out and told her the engine was "dead" and charged her $1400 for a whole new opener. I called him and asked for some details on what exactly was wrong, but got little more than "the engine was bad." When I advised him it was working fine the day before, he simply mumbled about springs and rails [totally irrelevant] and how it was now working fine. My conclusion: Danny took advantage of an old lady to make a full sale, when the issue could have been easily fixed.

Yelp5Great service! Reached out for a quote at 8PM for new garage door opener and had one installed by Open Sesame Garage Doors and Gates by 2 the next day. They were on time, communicative, professional and installed everything perfectly (even check the door and lubricated everything). I hardly knew they were there during the install and left the area as clean as when they arrive. I highly recommend their services.

He responded right away and said he could be here in an hour. Danny assessed the problem left to get parts and was back and fixed it within an hour. we appreciated his service.

Yelp5So thankfully for Danny! He was so responsive and quick. My garage door broke and was left halfway open on a Saturday and I needed it fixed ASAP. He intitally gave me a window of 5-7pm to come fix it and when I told him I needed to leave before then he adjusted and arrived within 15 mins! He was very quick to fix the garage and so professional. I would highly recommend this company.
