John was very cooperative and looked up the information found that it was discontinued, but gave suggestions on alternative sources. Spring on our door broke. Called Hamon. They had a technician at my house within 3 hours. Can't say I would expect that kind of turnaround on every call, but it was impressive enough to warrant this review. Tech replaced the spring in less than an hour and was on his way. Professional operation here. Highly recommend.

My garage door went off the track due to an honest mistake made by me. In trying to make sure I backed out without hitting the stack of pavers to my side, unfortunately, the passenger side mirror snagged the blue trash bin as I was going back down an incline. Didn't realize it until I went to close the garage door. TOMMY came out during the stated time and when he saw me he said that he could repair it, and he did. Thanks Tommy, your calm attitude totally destressed me. And thanks to Shelly who answered my calls. This company works like a well oiled top machine. I've lived her 6 years in this senior community, and most of the garage doors are Hamon. Mine has to have been installed when house was manufactured in 2000. Thanks Tommy and staff

Just call Hamon with any garage door issues. Friendly, fast and so knowledgeable. We had and issue with a broken spring. Called Hammon on Friday. They sent over Landon. Great guy. Very smart. Landon came by on Monday and replace the springs and serviced the entire door. We are so pleased and happy with this company. Thanks Landon and Overhead Door. You're the best.

I stopped by the Santa Maria Hamon Overhead Door Company Shop to inquire about buying a new garage door and opener for my home. I spoke with Gregg who's brother (John) owns the business, Gregg told me he would come out to my home later the same day to take some measurements of my garage door this was early in the morning he also told me if he didn't make it out to my home today, he would definitely come out tomorrow, so I gave him my info and told him I would wait to hear from him. I waited around the whole day, but Gregg never showed up nor did he show up the next day and wasted even more of my time, never called to say he couldn't make it or anything. The next day now the third day I received a phone call from the office secretary Leslie, and she ask me if I would be home so Gregg could come out and take measurements of my existing garage door so I could get a quote and I told her yes, I would be home. Gregg finally showed up and took measurements of my door and said he would get back to me with an estimate via email the next day, but once again I was never sent the quote the next day and it wasn't until 2 or 3 days later, I receive the quote from Leslie via email. After I received the quote, I replied back to Leslie and ask her if the quote included taxes and ask her if she could tell me what kind of warranty the door comes with. Leslie responded back to me and said yes the quote included taxes but never answered my question about the garage door warranty. I then replied back to Leslie again via email and ask her about the garage door warranty and once again Leslie ignored my email and never replied explaining if the garage door and opener came with a warranty or not, she was only interested in the question I had about the money. Because of the poor customer service, I received from Gregg and Leslie I decided to take my business elsewhere and bought a new garage door and opener thru Unique Garage Doors, not only did they give me a better price but most important they treated me like a valued customer and explained their warranty's on their garage doors and openers. I would not recommend buying a new garage door or opener for your home thru Hammon Overhead Door company because of their poor customer service. I can't imagine what would have happened had I purchased a new garage door thru Hammon and had any problems with the door or opener, I guess I would have just been screwed and out of luck if the garage door or opener needed repairs. For a company who has been in business for over 50 years you would think they would off decent customer service, they won't be getting any of my business.

Had a spring wire unwind. Called em up they were there next day and had it fixed within an hour and under a hundred bucks. The tech also did a little more maintenance like ke tightened some bolts and lubing up the tracks and checked the overall integrity of the system.

Emmitt came over and adjusted our door and sold us on new garage door opener. He was back three days later and installed our opener. He was friendly and professional and he sure knows his door openers. Thank you Emmitt, good job

Excellent service throughout. I contacted Hamon after chasing away another company (one that runs large ads and has 7x24 service) wanted to charge me $180 to "replace a shot" garage door trolley mechanism, more than I spent on the entire opener a year earlier. Daniel at Hamon simply adjusted the trolley for the price of a service call. After discussing new door options, Hamon installed a new door, explained maintenance, and took the old door away. I strongly recommend Hamon to honestly diagnose and correct problems without any high-pressure sales BS. Arrived promptly. Entire job took less than 30 minutes. The garage door was cracking and the support brace stabilized it and prevented it from cracking further. This was an excellent experience from start to finish. The customer service rep sent me all the information I needed and once we chose the door we wanted she set up an appointment within a few days for measuring and inspecting our garage door opener. We were told in advance that because our door was a special order it could take up to two weeks but to our suprise they were ready to go within about 10 days. Once we were notified of its arrival an appointment was immediately set up for installation within a few days. Our installer, Milt Plumey, was extremely punctual and efficient. he removed the old door, installed the new one and hooked up our existing garage door opener within a few hours time. He took the time to explain everything to us as far as proper care and maintenence of both the door and the opener. We truely appreciated that he was so thorough. Could not ask for more - great service, quality product and reasonable prices!!! Services Rendered: Replaced garage door and hooked up existing opener to door.
