Google5Lance at Consolidated Overhead Door did a fantastic job of expediting the installation of a beautiful new garage door to meet our schedule to list our Goleta home for sale. The increased curb appeal with this new garage door was immediately apparent, and our home sold quickly. I highly recommend them for a new garage door.

Google5Consolidated has repeatedly provided friendly, prompt service. When I called most recently about our garage door that had broken and left one of our vehicles trapped inside, they sent a technician to fix it within a couple hours. Of all the companies I’ve worked with on home service and repairs, they have been the most responsive, communicative, and helpful. They understand and deliver excellent customer service. Thank you!

Google5This is a wonderful company! I called them late afternoon to see if they could fix my garage door which wouldn't close all the way, due to being bent by a friend's car bumping into it. The next morning, Hope was able to fix it (instead of making me buy a new door) so it works perfectly. I would definitely recommend them.

Google1Cliff is a great guy, helpful and on top of his game when you have the pleasure receiving phone calls and emails from him. His cell is a private number so you can't reach him. The supporting staff at the office is arrogant and horrible in customer service. None of the promised call backs happened. They must be super busy which doesn't justify their attitude.

Google5Great installation team! Eduardo and Hope did a fantastic job installing a powered side-mount opener with all of the accompanying hardware. They demonstrated skill, professionalism, and positive energy. Efficient with excellent communication. I'm so happy that a friend referred me to Consolidated Overhead Door & Gate!

Google1Replacement overhead door ordered and pre-paid early July 2021. Installed October 25, although delivery to Consolidated was claimed to be first week of October. After installation of the new door, the old panels were left blocking the driveway for two days. Still not removed as of October 27. One of the new panels has a 1/2 diameter hole punched in it and needs to be replaced. An unsatisfactory experience altogether..

Google5One of the springs on my roll-up garage door broke. I called Consolidated Overhead Door and they sent a service technician the same day. The young woman's name is Hope and she is an excellent technician. I was impressed with her high level of skill and knowledge of overhead doors. She installed a mechanical coupler on the broken spring as a temporary fix until the new springs arrived. The very next day she called to inform me they had the springs in stock. She arrived promptly and installed the new springs in 30-40 minutes. Then, she advised using garage door silicone lubricant (Home Improvement Center) every six months on the springs and hinges. She was professional, polite, focused, and worked carefully & quickly. Truly a remarkable young woman! Thank you!!

Google3This is an update to my older review from a deleted gmail account. My door started making a loud scraping noise less than a year after installation. Levi came and serviced it and it runs smoothly again. They mistakenly billed me for a service visit, but when I called they were polite and waived the fee. Raising my initial review from 2 to 3 stars.

Google4Overall, great service and easy to talk to over the phone. Would not hesitate to use them again for any garage service needs. 4 stars instead of 5 because they didn't address some issues with our door (worn/broken cable pulleys) on the first service call for broken cables and had to come back when the worn pulleys caused the cables to fall off. They then ordered pulleys to complete the repair which wasn't ideal because our door was non-operational. Pricing was very fair and actually less than a very sketchy person we had initially look at the door. If they had thoroughly assessed the repair needs and done everything in one shot I'd give them 6 stars.

Google2After installation, the tech asked me if I knew how to program my car's remote and left. When I went to do so, I discovered this required purchasing an additional $150 component. I called the company and spoke to Susan, telling her I wouldn't have purchased the opener if I had known of this charge. She said "sorry you feel this way" and that was it. The installation was done well, but the lack of accepting responsibility for disclosing total costs up front was not good business. This is my second time using them, but I won't be doing so again.
